Crowder's mother, who's been battling cancer, died today.
I want this man to feel the love from Cleveland opening night and every night.

Sad to hear that his mother passed on. It's never easy. Wishing him and his family the best.

He's way too good to simply be a backup. This guy needs 30 minutes a night. Those aren't backup minutes.
 
I think Crowder needs to play as much as he can with IT. I don't think he fits with Rose very much.

I guess backup is the wrong word to use. I mean a guy at Lebron's position who can allow us to keep Lebron's minutes around 32-34 without everything going to shit. I too expect Crowder to get 30 minutes a game, but I'm thinking he'll be in the game when Lebron is resting so in that sense he'd be Lebron's "backup".

Certainly in his cavaliers tenure.

He fits with anyone, but he fits much better with a player that is a willing passer and had developed chemistry with him for the last 3 years.
Crowder can't create by himself and while Rose is a good creator, he mainly creates for himself rather than others.
 
I always thought of Crowder as a contending bench player and middling team starter. Some people seem to be high on him, I hope he lives to their hype.

Does Crowder have the handle to play 2? I don't think so, but could be wrong.

I think we should play him in the role we've always needed. Back up LeBron.. you can of course always play them together later in games if something is working, but for a starting 5 I still think JR works best
