So Long Jordan Clarkson ( aka Chucky McJumperson)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I actually don't hate the idea of Clarkson playing more minutes with the first unit, but I don't think you need to start him. Just bring him in for Hill early, then bring Hill back in to start the 2nd quarter.

I think it will open up Clarkson to get easier shots while taking pressure off LeBron. LeBron needs plays off while he is on the floor. I think Clarkson is really the only player that can do that outside of just tossing it in to Love and having him post up.

It's not the staff, it's playing with LeBron. This goes back to his first stint. Who has he made better? Guys come here and have to play his game. It's not fun ball watching for 44 mins a game and hard to get a rhythm.

I do agree with this. The Blatt firing was because Lebron had United the team against him.

Lue is much like mike brown-except Lue can actually call up some decent plays now and again.

Lue works for Lebron. The operation is completely run by Lebron through Lue. Don’t get it twisted.

This is largely Lebrons doing. Go hire popovich. You’ll run into the same issues Blatt did...

Eh bullshit. Stevens has Horford and a bunch of rookies up 2-0 on the Bucks.

While I agree that our new guys are underwhelming, they're not being put in the best position to succeed either because of the simpleton they have to refer to as "coach" on a daily basis.

I could buy the young guys aren't playing up to it, if all the vets were playing great. No one has been put into a position to succeed on this team. When I see Vets and rookies have the same problems, it points to the coach.

Jordan and Nance had a great pick and roll game going when they showed up. That is the best offensive set I have seen Jordan runh, and they basically don't do it anymore. Anyone's guess why that is?

Because they're both playoff virgins. They might improve their intensity to match what is needed to execute against a team that is punching them in the mouth every time down the floor, and I hope they do. But they haven't done it yet. I think Lebron and Lue both know there is a little adjustment time needed at a minimum, and you can only hope these guys step up their games to the required level ASAP now that they've experienced it for real. I think that if and when they show they're ready Lebron and Lue will give them more leash.

My point is just that they are doing things they aren't comfortable with instead of running a play that was super effective when they first got here, and they ran all the time in LA. Sometime I feel like Lue sees stuff work and then goes away from it to see what else will work.

I really think the Cavs would do better just playing some basic stuff. Simplify the defense and the offense and better things would happen.

They seem so concerned with attacking a mismatch, when they could just run pick and roll and score. Most of the guys on the pacers can defend, so getting a mismatch isn't as good IMO as just getting a step on anybody. Just my opinion though.

It's not about the coaching: he's just not very good - hope he's gone next year unless Lebron's gone and we're in tank mode

Undersized SG with poor vision, poor basketball IQ whose getting his lunch money stolen by Corey Joseph every game is not a playoff caliber player.

Which was why trading Wade was f****** asinine if you're actually trying to compete for a title this year. Anyone I actually thought Clarkson was going to come in and run the second unit effectively needs fired because that isn't what he does. We've had way too many situations so far in these playoffs or either he or JR are trying to initiate our team's offense... It hasn't worked out well

Wade didn’t want any part of Cleveland anymore

Yea I don't disagree but fuck him...he was under contract...go out and play dude you signed on the dotted line...I know he had the questions about Love but I don't think he would have been a huge team cancer the rest of the way and I feel like he would have really help this ball team and maybe even enjoyed playing with the new guys

Wade, like LeBron, are just old grouchy guys in the middle of the season. Him/Love would have got over it the moment the playoffs started

Also add the fact that we had a team full of vets that had the same problem

Winning cures all and had they doing that the locker room would be fine.

I'm only posting in this thread hoping that my post single handedly turns his series around... I have my doubts, but we did win three lotteries in four years because of my Justin Bieber bracelet thing (assist to wuck).

He plays like a spider monkey on crack, a 6 yr old behind the wheel of a Ferrari, etc etc. choose your analogy. He has zero feel for the game and the playoff courts tightening up really expose his deficiencies. I convinced myself he’d be “instant offense” against GSW/Houston. Like a bangladeshi street urchin’s version of Kyrie. He’s just a chucker and that’s all there is to it.
