So Long Jordan Clarkson ( aka Chucky McJumperson)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Clarkson is so much bigger physically this season. He put in the work in the gym, let’s hope he put in the work to have a more complete skillset!

And he's #TEAMTATTED

You’re wondering now, I’m sure, who was the best Cav in a camp that’s now over?

Well, according to my survey of the players at camp, that man was Clarkson.

“I don’t know if he’s really been stopped at practice,” Kyle Korver said.

Clarkson, 26, who is entering his first full season in Cleveland after being traded by the Lakers to the Cavs on Feb. 8, won the poll with a plurality of votes. Sexton impressed his peers and was right behind Clarkson, followed by Ante Zizic and Isaiah Taylor. Love picked up a couple of votes, too.

The sample size was 16 voters,
the 15 players most likely to make the team plus coach Tyronn Lue — with a margin of error of 0.0 percent.

The rules were no player could vote for himself, and if multiple players were named by the same teammate, a vote was counted for each.

Clarkson won out.

Damn they are in trouble

I think Clarkson is basically unguardable, but you can bait him into inefficient shots like in the playoffs. Attacking his dribble works a bit.

Saying he can't be stopped isn't surprising to me. His shot is so funky because he let's it go when he is coming down. Hard to be consistent but also hard to block.

Trade Cedi before the other teams know.

Damn, the disappointment !

Same thing I was thinking. A team with Clarkson as one it's better players is heading to the top of the lottery.

I think it's all preseason smoke. As soon as he has 1-14 night, we will all forgot these statements were ever made.

I hope he brings it this season. If he succeeds then we as fans should.

Should what?
Embrace him..

A lot of negatives from this board on a guy that works pretty hard..Jordan Clarkson having a breakout year would be good for us..

I hear ya on the 1-14 expectation. Thos is lebronlessess cavs, and Cleveland generally, so it's not a crazy position. But I personally think we are better than that, and that people are sleeping on clarkson..

Meh, he has a lot of proving to do, and fans don't owe players anything. It's not like players read this board, and if they do then they're not using their time effectively.

I don't see the hard work...I only hear rumors. He'll only change my mind if he proves that he somehow acquired better decision making. I don't see how hard work changes that, but I hope the rumors are right.

This is an underrated point. Hard work can improve skills, but I don't know if I've ever seen dumb players -- or at least, players who play dumb -- suddenly start playing smart.

That's the "Drew Gooden/Dion Waiters" Rule.

I am very confident he will shoot us out of many games we might otherwise have won. Invaluable for keeping our pick he is.
