You are right, he messed up, but one of his busts was for drinking on a plane to vegas, and 2 of the busts were from random drug tests because of a misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He has been under a much tougher microscope than the rest of us, no way do i have to live by those rules.

That said, he was lucky enough to play in the NFL, not be a loan officer.

I just feel if the truth were made public of his struggles with depression you would feel a bit sorry for him. I really dont get the hate for him vs how others are given a pass.

Anyone who has multiple busts is not worth feeling sorry for. Don't care about the excuses. This coddling is unbelievable.

He could take a shit on the Browns field mid-game and people would be in here defending him.

I don't know anything about his reasoning for postponing reinstatement or anything about his financial situation. I know that the TSA and Cleveland PD stated that the rumor you've chosen to believe is false. So I'll believe the TSA and Cleveland PD over a rumor from Scout.com.

They're right. Josh Gordon did not get in any trouble. A member of his entourage did. I'm sure it had nothing to do with him, tho...

But, I'm sure Lane Adkins just decided to make-up a new story that day. The day before Josh re-entered rehab and further delayed reinstatement & a paycheck.

Seriously, do you have a link to this? I remember the rumor. Don't remember hearing about a member of Gordon's posse getting busted. Do remember losing a lot of respect for Lane afterwards. Even if he was wrong, it doesn't mean it was made up. Could be a bad source.

And IIRC, the story didn't come out until after Gordon checked into rehab. If we had the story and then Gordon checked himself in, it looks a lot more suspicious.
