Any deal would have to be HEAVILY conditional. He's a fuck-up away from being out for the forseeable future again (I believe). If he flops, the trading team needs assurances. If he booms and looks like he did in his hey-day, conditions may raise from late-round to mid-round. Either way, I don't think the pick the Browns would get is worth it.

If the Browns brass thought they were having a bad day, go ahead and trade Josh Gordon's rights for a bag of peanuts and see what happens.

It'll be interesting to see how long the league takes to rule on Josh. I would hope it could get resolved within a week or two. I'd like to see at least a few games from Kizer with an actual NFL talent catching passes before the season ends...

I just don't think Schefty is going to drop news that is purely hypothetical. He isn't just in his office like, "hmm, the Browns can trade Gordon's rights. Of all the ideas I have, I'll report just this one."

For the first time in basically ever, JG seemed honest and transparent in his Uninterrupted interview. He might be on track to a comeback. But it's still a big "maybe."

He has so far to go.

So while I don't have a huge issue with trading him, I do have an issue with trading him when his value is at its absolute lowest. Why the fuck would we do that?

Yeah I mean even if he didn't seem genuine, you just can't trade him right now. It's nonsensical. You ride this out until he completely flames out or finally gets it together.

Hell, you don't even have to feel bad about cutting a good dude to make room for Josh. Cut Britt.
