JR Smith

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It was a stupid pass and I'm glad it happened in the 1st round and not the finals. I really doubt we see him try that again.

He really hasn't found his groove offensively but I think he did a great job defending George this series.

I wasn't able to watch the game so I watched the highlights right now. I have never seen anyone do anything as dumb as JR at such a crucial moment. And follow it up by flying past George, who basically ended with a wide open shot. I really hope he at least gets back into it offensively.

JR at least keeps it interesting. Glad to see all the other players embrace JR after the game to let him know they have his back despite his relapses.

I'm ok with the occasional LAPSE, but if he RELAPSES back to the weed, that's not good.

JR should feel terrible about that idiotic pass. No one should be helping him feel better. That behavior needs to be extinguished, and the only way that will happen is with extreme remorse.

That shit was ridiculous. It took a sec for me to even process how stupid that shit was watching it live.

It didn't hurt us but he can't be doing shit like that because we won't have that margin for error in the finals for damn sure.

Dude just stop, Curry did it in a game 7 of an NBA Finals. J.R. admitted it was a dumb pass in his post game interview, just move on!

Nope - he gets 20 lashes with a wet noodle on the team plane!

There was a play earlier in the game that had me just giving up on JR, where PG13 faked a drive then stepped back to drain a wide open three with nobody closing on him. JR got faked out of his jock which happens buy he gave absolutely zero effort to get back to contest.

I was hoping Lue would pull JR and go with Shump pretty much this whole series based on the performance of each player.

Hopefully JR turns himself around.

It's bad when Kyrie is out there giving more effort on the closeout than you, haha.

JR got shoved hard by George on that play, not "faked out". He was slightly off balance and George shoved him hard as hell, sending him flying far out of position. Geroge got away with that push all series and he pushed harder and harder every time he got away with it.

JR did a decent job on George, most of the series. Yea , he was inconsistent offensively because he had to guard George for so many minutes. He also had some really good moments offensively this series, mainly in game 3 where he hit 4 threes , had that great drive and kick to Frye in crunch time, etc.

I thought he gave a great effort defensively all series. Yes that behind the back pass was dumb, but JR competed hard with George all 4 games and had a big game 3 on both ends of the floor. I think people are being too hard on him. His effort was there , IMO, and offense will come now that he isn't playing PG13 straight up for 25+mins a night.

Paul George averaged almost 29 ppg that series; he got what he wanted when JR was "covering" him. Shumpert, a guy most people here wrote off, did a far more commendable job D'ing him up.

I think you're trying too hard to obfuscate JR's struggles. Guy is not playing well. I understand that he's likeable and has had a lot of personal shit to deal with this year, but it's time he get his head straight...we're in the trenches here and it's only going to get more intense. He's not earning his paycheck and it really starts counting from here on out.

Just wanna say that PG is like really really good. He is either 2nd or 3rd best sf in the game. He is not easily stopped.
