Justin Anderson | SG/SF | Virginia

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

New workout video. I don't think we'll draft him though, just seems too similar to players we already have on the roster, I think Shumpert/Harris can do everything he can.
There is no way Harris can defend or finish like him. Shump is a decent comp. Many of us expect Joe harris to be included as trade filler, so I doubt he factors in any decision.

Yeah I get that, and I think he's a solid end of first round pick, but I don't know if the creator griffin wants will be there in the draft unless it's a combo guard.

I'm not even sure he will fall to us. Whoever falls to us, I hope we include them in the rotation and develop them.

There is no way Justin Anderson can play SG in the NBA. He's an under sized forward all the way for me....

I really like him and would take him if he were available to the Cavs but I just don't see him as a SG.

I wouldn't call him undersized for SF by any means. Sure, the top of his head is at 6'6, but a 7 foot wingspan and 231 LBs make him pretty big.

All moot because I think he goes before our pick because of his athleticism/NBA ready body/shooting abilities make him stick out more than most mid-tier prospects for this years draft.

I just meant undersized because I think he has the body and wingspan to play small-ball PF too. I think the type of versatility Anderson has could be something the Cavs could use. I agree he probably goes before we pick anyway. I think a guy like Anthony Brown (stock is rising) could be just as versatile (SF-PF) and be a better outside shooter too (he's been in for a workout).

Grizzlies fans are expecting this kid already claiming he's better than Jeff Green, and Tony will teach him how to defend at a top level.

These are the type of players you take shots on, if he's there we cannot fuck it up. We need a serviceable SF with potential.

I am super high on Anderson, I think he would fit us very well if he comes as advertised, but I doubt very much he is still available at 24.

Also wondering how long Jerian Grant will last.

Anderson's the guy I want but will he be there at 24 is the question. He'd be a perfect fit in the rotation.
