Kawhi Leonard deserves his own thread.

Tough to argue that now after recent events and Durant's injury. It's beginning to look like he did what was best for his health, and then got out of an organization that didn't make his well being a top priority.

Also worth mentioning is that he may be the only player in the league who doesn't throw a conniption whenever a foul is called on him.
That's because he more than gets the benefit of the doubt on the other end. 12 FTA/game this series is asinine, inexplicable and unconscionable when you look at how LeBron was reffed every series against these assholes.

I'll admit I didn't pay close attention to Kawhi's game until this postseason. I mean, I knew he was good and his style but I never locked in on him the way you do for a centerpiece star. He's really impressive. His incredibly long arms and giant hands are that extra superpower edge that lifts him up to being a potential all-time great. He covers the space of two players on defense, and he effortlessly extends his arms above defenders to make midrange shots. He is incredibly smooth out there, one of those players who does not really give the sensation of effort when he's dominating a game. Taking him out of the San Antonio system has made it easier to appreciate his individual skills.

I did not think he was such a deadly iso player that is for sure.

agreed. Kawhi was getting LeBronned out there this series. Hacked all over the place, few whistles. Two guys had a hand on him on the replay.

Impossible not to like this guy.

Why NBA star Kawhi Leonard still drove a 20-year-old car after signing a $94 million contract

Article headline is a bit misleading, shocker.

He has a Porsche and bout a 13 million dollar home. He also calls the Tahoe "rehabbed" meaning he probably keeps it and drives it for sentential reasons. He probably did a resto-mod on the car. Still cool and love him as a player, but some major holes are missing from the story like maybe a picture of the car?
