I think the biggest difference would be that you are joining an already established Big3 who has a recent championship, 73 win season, and was 1 win from back to back. In Cleveland, you would only be joining a Big2 because we would have to ship off Love. I still don't understand why there isn't more hate thrown towards KD and Steph for this even being a possibility. No one has ever had a Big4, and LBJ was torched for both his Big3 in Miami and his Big3 in Cleveland.

My thoughts are if Cleveland/LBJ aren't at least secretly reaching out to gauge his interest, they are failing. No matter what team you are, you look to improve your team. Cavs only real way to improve this team is through trade. I'm not a "you have to trade Love" guy, but I'm very open to explore that possibility, and what a win/win situation for everyone for there to be S&T for Durant to come to Cleveland.
Eh, "Big 2", "Big 3", what's the difference?

To me the bigger stigma that going to GS carries is that had Durant played more like a superstar when the series was on the line they would have closed it out. Nothing like going to the team that just narrowly beat you because of YOUR ineptitude.

With GS or Cleveland he's frontrunning either way. I feel Durant's pain; almost a decade with that organization and no big prize to show for it. But Presti just made a major move and by all accounts is still looking to deal. Winning in OKC would mean so much more for his career/legacy. But that presents another issue for him: can he beat us/LeBron staying put?

I moved the other Durant thread to this forum, so closing this one.
