Kevin Love Trade Ideas

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Totally depends on what the Pacers want to do moving forward, but I would think they could get a better offer for their franchise than that.

Too bad PG doesn't have a No-Trade Clause like Melo.

It looks like the Cavs players and PG have no good relationship between them. They are very friendly, considering it's the playoffs.

If the Pacers don't want to tank, maybe Kevin Love, who has thepotential to be a superstar on the right team , on a good contract could perhaps be a good alternative to PG. Pairing him with Myles Turner could become a very formidable front court in due time. Spacing wise it's deadly and Love could help him on the boards.
PG is going to demand almost twice as Love, maybe Love's contract could enable them to persue other free agents. Although a small market team like the Pacers could have some problems with that.

Do they have any better options to trade PG to if they still want to be competitive? maybe... but it's not that far fetched. We can add Felder if they want.

In my opinion, I don't think the Pacers are going to entertain trading George this offseason. They'll likely try to field a good team to start next season and will likely be players in free agency (potentially being able to offer a max contract). They'll likely pursue another All-Star caliber player to position alongside Paul George, while letting Jeff Teague walk.

If they fail in that endeavor, then you might envision them trading George prior to the deadline.

I wouldn't be surprised if Indiana pushes heavy to try and land Millsap, Blake, and/or CP3. I totally agree with you. They aren't trading PG13 until they complete whiff on free agency.

Problem with waiting till the deadline is that you get less than half a season of PG13 before he's unrestricted, and I'd bet there will be a lot of "PG to the Lakers" buzz at that time. Who's going to give up anything to lose PG to the Lakers?

:chuckle:

I kinda love how we only hear about Love's good qualities when it comes to selling him to other teams.

Play up the Larry Bird/Kevin Love comparisons and hope Larry gets enticed by it... if PG is intent on walking or makes it known.

What Comparison ... that they are white?

That's the similarity you see?

Yes. I watched Larry Bird play basketball for nearly a decade. not one time watching Kevin Love have I ever thought.. wow he is a lot like Larry Bird.
