If all of this is true, we absolutely should hold on to the Brooklyn pick so we could have the #1 & #2 picks in the next draft, because from what I read there are no decent players on this team except for Zizic & Cedi. *LeBron doesn't count because he is leaving. **IT will never be the same according to the doctors on here.

If we could get DMC with a good chance of re-signing him then it would be worth both Love and the Brooklyn pick. Guy is starting to look like one of the top 10 players in the league. If you could get him for the Brooklyn pick you'd have to do it.
 
NO would likely ask a king's ransom for Cousins. Kevin and the Brooklyn pick may still not be enough.

Only team we might trade Love to is OKC. Because if the Paul George experiment doesn't work they might want to reunite Westbrook with his former college teammate. Also they miss Kanter. Love would give them rebounding and so much more. Also moves Melo back to his normal position.

Not saying it will happen, but thats the one to keep an eye on. Problem is that would severely hurt our rebounding and Lue has shown no willingness to give Zizic mins.

Why would anyone give them a Kings Ransom for a 4 month rental though?

I see no reason for them not to take the Brooklyn pick, I can't imagine any other team offering something better just to have 4 months of Cousins?

If they trade him, things probably are not going
well for them and they will have no leverage. Teams will know he won’t stay there anyway. And mid season, way different than PG. They can get Bkn pick top5 protected.

For me, Love and our own pick would be enough of an overpay.

I don't care if he is playing out of position for an all star the guy can be inept on offense.
