21 points on 8 of 14 shooting, 10 rebounds, three steals, +9 with him in the game. And improved defense.

Cannot blame him for the loss. He was the Cavs' best player tonight.

No matter the stat line this is the thing that bothers me the most.

I as keep mentioning he is a skilled player but when he's driving to the basket I think he'd have better luck throwing the ball forward then going to search for it.

He played well, competed on D all night and made some tough shots down the stretch. 3 was off but that is the nature of that shot, still shooting 41% from there this season.

When he plays with intensity he is a great player, can't afford for him to have those alarming drop offs he showed against Minny and Toronto.

Love not holding up his end of a "Big 3 player"...downhill skier right now

9 shots, the same as Jeff Green, when Wade and IT are going 13/35?

He was in foul trouble.

Ok, so you let the game spin out of control with your number 2 offensive option on the bench? You just throw in the towel?

He should have been reinserted as soon as the lead stretched. If he fouls out he fouls out but LeBron plus bums on offense isn’t going to beat GSW.

Will his awful defense ever be worth his offense? its a double-edged sword because he gives up so many points under the basket, not even trying to contest 6'3 players who are right in front of him, hard to watch.

I hate this player! I will never understand the love this soft white player gets from the Cavs fans!
1- he has almost zero impact in our ring back in 2016... he was the worst player in the court in thAt 7 games series!
2-last year, yes he was decent in the offense but his defense was horrible and we almost got swept!
3- when will it count, he will be useless, I mean vs the GSW he will suck inside and Green and KD will eat him alive.
4- his horrible defense inside is killing us so he fucks these few things he is doing in the offense side!
5- his rebounding is the most overrated in the league. 90% of his rebounds are easy defensive reb that even my grandmother can get!

I always try to imagine you shouting with a funny voice. Your exclamation marks and epic English is something to witness.

English isn’t my mother language, you are right about exclamation mark though.

Offense good as usual but here's one aspect he can help us. Stop chasing offensive rebounds against GS (if he isn't already in position to grab it).

It's a very low rate stat that punishes you when playing elite transition teams. He cant recover and it takes him out of the next defensive possession leaving the others playing 5 on 4 in transition. Little things like this accumulate

It’s kind of dammed if you do, damned if you don’t though.

The Cavs win games against GSW when they use their size / rebounding advantage to create extra possessions. Our formula for winning is offensive rebounds and a low turnover total.

Maybe Love isn’t the best person to try to fill that role but we have to try to negate transition through rebounding pressure IMO because our defense just isn’t good enough. If we were a better defensive team, I would agree he should just get back but crashing for offensive rebounds can either get you the ball back or the pressure can at least make the outlet pass a split second slower, allowing the other 4 players to get back.

A bigger problem is just how disorganized we are defending in scrambling situations. You can tell we don’t practice these concepts because every time we get in a situation where we need to fill lanes with defenders, we end up arguing with each other under the basket after someone has hit a wide open 3 or Dunk.
