"Koby, Dan is on line one ..."

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Oh... well, that's a bummer. Don't see anyway you can make that deal without Parsons' salary.

If there was a way to get #6 and a solid player or two, I might think about it. Then you could draft Porter and Jackson.
OK, pick a team in the bottom 8 right now. Who would you deal Love to and for what?

Remember, we just lost the Finals--in 5 games. Let's say Kevin averaged 14 and 10 on 40%/34% shooting in 27 minutes per game.

I could see Sacramento thinking "you know who would fit well with Fox, Bogdanovic, Hield and WCS? Kevin Love."

But then you're looking at a package of Skal, Temple, MAYBE Justin Jackson and the #6 pick. Is Skal, Temple, Justin Jackson and Jaren Jackson worth Kevin Love? I'm just not sure.

To me? Absolutely.

KLove is averaging 18/9 in 28 minutes per game, we haven't even seen how he's going to match up with the new lineup yet, and there are already threads arguing for trading him for the 6th pick in the draft. Poor KLove!

It’s hypothetical, and he has a documented history of back problems. He’s also likely to opt out of his contract at the end of next season—so this offseason is the time to trade him if you have reservations giving him another max deal.

I appreciate Kevin, but at the same point, I think LeBron’s future is playing more time at the 4 as he ages. Doing so with a center like Jackson, Ayton, or Bamba—if he develops as we all hope—is a game changer.

Especially if you can couple the big with a guy like Porter Jr. or Doncic.

Youth isn’t all bad. It prepares you for the next 4 year run.

I agree, and have for years.

However, until LeBron is on board with this, you need a floor spacer at that spot next to him. Love does that extremely well, and rebounds at a historic rate.

If LeBron came out this offseason and said he thinks changing his primary position is best for his career, then trading Love for the best perimeter player possible has to become a focus. Until LeBron does that, however, trading Love seems silly.

Didn't know where to post this, but here's a question, With people like Jose and jeff coming of the books this summer, would we have enough cap space to go after another allstar like DeMarcus cousins? or maybe someone like Tyreke evens?

This whole Bron to Philly train could have some real traction. Philly has major assets to add another star player, in addition to Bron and very well could be Kevin Love.

Can you imagine Love next to Embid?

If Bron walks to Philly, would you take back a package of Philly's two 2018 1st's and Saric for Love?

Imagine:

Simmons
James
Covington
Love
Embid

Tell them to throw in Luwawu, and I would consider it if LeBron is dead set on going there.

Nope. Not nearly enough of a return. Also think the LeBron to Philly thing is getting way, way, waaaaaaay too much hype.

Don't know why they wouldn't, if that was the only hold-up to getting a deal done.

Assuming our floor w/ the BKN pick is 7th, we could have one of Bagley, MPJ, JJ, Bamba (Assuming Ayton & Doncic go 1-2 & Trae Young goes to either PHX or Orlando).

Grab Sexton w/ the 12th pick & Gilgeous-Alexander w/ the 17th pk

Sexton, Clarkson
Hood, Gilgeous-Alexander
Osman, Saric
MPJ/Bagley, Nance Jr
Zizic, Jackson Jr/Bamba

*Bold = BKN pk

That would be a nice young core. Once JR & TT come off the books in the next 2-years we could be a prime FA destination -

Giannis!?!?
