This is meaningless and I am mainly doing it to poke fun of Kyrie...but does anyone notice a pattern in the box score below. Far right column..Kyrie vs the other starters.

Don't know how you go from

"Love"

"Efficient"

"Clutch"

"Micro-Kobe"

"Leading us in scoring in the future"

"Outclassses Rose"

"Superstar"

To being the Celts problem...... why the F*** does he need his own thread? He is not even on our team although this is around the NBA...Folks stalking this kid like I said they would, who gives a crap about the Celtics? They aint even getting out the second round..traded all their defenders...
 
Kyrie Irving trying to be a playmaker is funny af. He passes when he has an open lane and doesn't pass when it's clogged.

Still like watching him play though.

Exactly what I've been thinking. The entire team is finesse / touch players. They are gonna get STOMPED OUT, bru.

I thought his whole thing was wanting to show people that he was a true point guard? Well, through two games, it appears the Celtics are more or less using him in the same role the Cavs did (lead scorer, attacking guard), maybe putting him in even fewer true point guard spots than Cleveland did. Hayward has been marginalized a bit, though maybe it'll just take him longer to get integrated? I don't know.

Um, it's not the role they put him in. It's the role he puts himself in. If he wanted to be a point guard, he could have done it here. All he had to do was play like one.

Which hearkens back to his whole reason for leaving. If his best role is the one teams use him in and he has no qualms with, then just admit you didn't want to be in Cleveland any longer.

He's trying to have his cake and eat it too.

He has his own thread because it was originally a continuation of the Kyrie thread when he was drafted...and continued throughout his time here. The thread title was changed.

We have one for almost every player on the Cavs roster.

News breaks of Kyrie trade on July 21. TheCity joins on July 21 and claims to be from Ohio....hmmmmm.
