Kind of obvious but I just heard Hayward is almost certainly going to miss the whole year.

On a positive note for him, there's cautious optimism that there was no major ligament damage. There is some, but the Cavs docs who reset his foot for him seem to think that there's a decent chance the major ligaments are in-tact.

Now obviously they need advanced imaging to know for sure, and even then due to likely swelling, there might be a couple small surprises once they cut him open.

I know nothing about the scans, I'm sure they have at least a couple sets of scans already done and I know he will have surgery today or tomorrow, but the exact details of the scans are being kept very secret until they want to publicly announce the results.

I've heard 8-12 months from 3 different people, and one of those people talked to a Cavs doc that was involved in the initial plan to reset his foot and take the X-Rays. But it's all very much speculation at this point.

Kyrie is chucking up shots and shooting the Celtics out the game. I guess it's not a problem because he gets to be the man.

The Great and Magnificent Brad Stevens just had Terry Rozier and Marcus Smart taking turns with Kyrie in the corner for 6 minutes of crunch time.

Kyrie looks like a god damn fool right now

Just went 7 for 25 in a loss with 3 assists

What happened to LeBron was holding me back and expanding your game?

Jaylen Brown looks like the best player on that team, and for a guy with such a high opinion of himself to the point that he’d leave LeBron fucking James and Kevin Love that is UNACCEPTABLE to EVER be the case even for one game

I want him to succeed but man Kyrie don’t tell me you fucked up your career

I think he’s been hearing he’s the greatest scorer ever his whole life and I’m guessing he got tired of it. Every time he heard it he probably thought to himself “but I can do more than just score”

I hope he gets better but man maybe the grass ain’t greener. We were the perfect team for his skill set. He could go 7 for 25 here and win by 30. He can’t have one-off game in Boston

Is this dude ever really going to improve his game? Didn't even watch, but just looking at his stat line, looked like a typical Kyrie game when his shot isn't going.

Seemed useless out there. I guess now that we don't have to suck up to him. And believe me, yes, I DID LIKE HIM. And was bias.

But fuck, he's gone. What an utter disappointment I think he is.

Because he's become a wasted talent, that doesn't have an ounce of responsibility, discipline, and real sacrifice in his bones.

The thing is, he doesn't fucking get it. Part of why he can't be truly great, because he can't make any fucking sacrifices to get to that point. Like tonight, he didn't shoot well.

That's a type of game you say fuck my scoring, I'll make plays for others, I'll defend at a high level. I'll do other things for my team to WIN. Like a real leader would.

Looking at the box score, looks like probably just fucking pouted when his shot didn't go, and started chucking like a selfish pig.

Great leadership Ky. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Tatum has better leadership skills as a rookie.
