2016/2017 - 25.2/5.8/3.2 on 47/40/91

2017/2018 (coming into tonight) - 20.6/5.2/3.1 on 44/33/88

What am I missing here?

Okay. Do you think he's going to play like that all season? Probably not. He's playing like this on the best team in the league right now. Imagine how good they'll be once he finds his rhythm.

It's beyond strange to me that a guy who has gotten his lunch money stolen on both ends by Tristan Thompson in the playoffs three years in a row is having the statistical impact of a top 5 NBA player.

Literally was convinced before this year that he was remarkably overpaid for what he brings to the table. Has been worth every penny this year. It's going to be even weirder if Tristan embarrasses him again, for the fourth year in a row, if we play then in the playoffs.

This is an anomaly and will level out.....his 3 pt shooting has been spectacular and his offensive efficiency through the roof based on shooting.

It won't last......

The Celtics will dip soon enough. Better than I thought they'd be with loss of Hayward but they're still over-achieving. The crash back to earth is on its way.....

Boston isn't the best team in the league right now. All I have to go off is the 15 games he's played so far this season. He hasn't played all that well. Maybe he improves and maybe he doesn't.

If we played Boston right now in a 7 game series without IT I would give them a game, maybe two. We saw what happened to Boston's "system" last year in the playoffs. If Rondo doesn't get hurt the Bulls likely sweep them. Boston can go 80-2 for all I care. They're not doing anything significant in the playoffs this year.

Oh how magnanimous of you!!

If Celts played Cavs right now with no IT, they'd win 4-2 at worst. Celts play defense, and Brown et al can't contain LBJ enough. If there are no injury issues, C's play W's in the finals.
