When would Shumpert have ever had the motivation to "tear up a locker room"? I read that as him going berserk on the team in the room...is that correct?

We need to sign Kendrick Perkins to a 10 day contract so he can send Kyrie into the 3rd row tonight.

WOW... crazy article! See this is where I think we have improved in the Kyrie IT scenario.. are you not the PG kyrie? Is it not your job to find open shots and create them for your teammates? Again.. this dude is a lil shit head. I’m glad he’s gone. Saying shit like he didn’t need to push the pace cuz HE could find his shot whenever he wanted it.. fuck you kyrie!

"Ky," Lue said, "I want you to play a little faster."

"Why?" Irving asked.

"Because if we play faster, we get shots off easier."

"I don't need to play faster to get my shot off," Irving replied. "I can do that anytime."

"I'm not talking about your shot. I'm talking about RJ and JR," Lue said, citing teammates Richard Jefferson and Smith.

"Well, that's No. 23's job," Irving replied, referring to James.

According to members of the Cavs organization who witnessed the exchange, Lue ended the conversation by walking away, shaking his head.

Both Lue and Handy, whom Irving affectionately calls his "OG," confirmed the incident but declined to elaborate. "Kyrie is a great player," Lue says. "Please tell him I wish him the best."

WHAT A MEGA DICKHEAD!!!

I like hearing about all of Kyries dreams and interests and then hearing IT last night say how he just wants to fit in, adapt, and be a basketball player.

That part about 23 needing to get the ball to RJ and JR faster while It was out there making plays and scoring makes me think we win this trade as long as IT can stay healthy.

Not really surprised, I think many of us early saw that Kyrie was more of SG in a PG body. Watching It yesterday whip the ball around was a sight though.

Kyrie comes off as an asshole all right. Supremely talented player though.

What surprises me is his claim that the Cavs wanted to trade him, implying he was pushed out rather than wanting to leave.

If that was so it seems like we could have gotten in on PGIII, Butler, or Chris Paul action. The presumption so far around here has been that Kyrie made a trade demand that came as a summer surprise.

Damn. Imagine BOS getting a top 5 pick right along with us in this draft. What can we add to this team next year besides the BKN pick? BOS is most likely going to add Hayward and a top 5 pick to what is currently the best team in the East.

On the flip side imagine Philly getting the #1 pick and having enough cap space to sign LeBron.

Apparently Kyrie was on JJ Redick's podcast ranting about all kinds of conspiracy theories, and, shocker, he said he gets a lot of his info from INSTAGRAM pages.

Shit, I don't even care about the Cavs' drama at this point, at least that weirdo is being a weirdo somewhere else.

Worst trade since Ron Harper. Perhaps ever. That pick is gonna suck ass, none of the pieces are yielding SHIT on the court, and the team is over all worse and will not/can not improve. 2016 is going to seem even more miraculous in retrospect. We're the Mavs now.

Basically Kyrie heard about a framework Griff had talked about with Indian and the Suns.... Kyrie to Phoenix...George and Bledsoe to Cleveland...#4 to Indiana.

Welll..the trade was never agreed upon. Phoenix didnt wanna trade #4 especially when they thought they were getting Josh Jackson who they coveted. The Cavs also weren't 100% in on trading Kyrie...but Griff was basically just doing his due diligence. It was never a super serious deal and it was never close to happening.

So Kyrie hears about that and was mad and thought we were shopping him...which just wasn't true. Griff was just doing his due diligence before he left the team. Then Griff left, Kyrie said nothing while Paul/George/Butler all were traded. Then a week or two later he meets with Gilbert in Vegas I believe but could be wrong on that detail and requests the trade.

There's a ton of he-said-she-said that goes with all of that which is hard to sort through...but the above is what I'm pretty sure can be confirmed at least as close to 100% as you can get with stuff like that.

Wow, better hope that pick doesn't go to Boston. But I'm sure it will, and they get another stud.

That Boston team is very young, extremely well-coached, and very talented and will be even better next year with development of their young players, Hayward returning plus very possibly another top 5 pick as you said.

They will run the East starting next year, possibly this year if the Cavs don't sack the fuck up.

what you are describing here is epic incompetence and stupidity by the front office resulting in a crappy trade and leaving value on the table that we could ill afford to lose.

This is also the story Windhorst tells in his comparison of how a good organization (San Antonio) handles a trade demand vs how we handled it -- http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...onio-spurs-handled-trade-demands-worlds-apart. Warning: don't read unless you have a strong stomach.
