Problem is late in the games.

When teams double or send late-doubles on LeBron, to get the ball out of his hands, we would be screwed. They don't do that now because we have Kyrie. Without Kyrie, it would be similar to 2007-2010 Cavs where its LeBron or bust!

That is why I want someone like Melo along with a Bledsoe + Josh Jackson!

For all his flaws, Melo would get us buckets. Especially in clutch. Something we also need.

This is where Dan/Koby/Lue really have to be on their game with this deal.

Because LeBron tires down from having to do a lot already. LeBron doing a lot opens up for Kyrie to have those scoring spurts or close games late. We need to form a roster where LeBron isn't forced to play 40+ mins. If we're letting go of Kyrie we need it to be so that LeBron is fresher on both ends to finish games.

True. But we still need a reliable scorer other than Melo.

Love in his TWolves days used to be. Can he be that dominant and assertive late in the games? Especially against a team like Warriors. Can he create his own shot? I doubt!

Clippers Get:- Kyrie + TT.

Knicks Get:- Shumpert + Lou Williams + Frye + 1st Round Pick from Clippers in 2021.

There is certainly still a chance for a summit and realigning of stars for a return to the Cavaliers.

I think the chances of Irving staying in Cleveland are much higher than most believe.

I kind of got excited about Jackson but the more I think about it I probably prefer win now pieces only. It's very rare a rookie, no matter how talented can be a big contributor on a title team.

I'm all about going all in next year. There's only ever gonna be one Lebron. This is our time.

I'm not getting hooked... But I would really fucking be excited to see this team be brought back with the Rose, Green, and Cedi additions... Not too mention I feel like an Allen signing or possibly a Danny Green trade could still happen to shore up the defense even more

Realistically Ky is still a top-5 pg in this league with the best handles, still growing as a player. I still think he is a vital piece to any championship caliber team. It wont break my heart to see him come back.
