Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We're not good trading partners, they won't take TT and we will never trade Love for LMA

LMA's defense is still pretty good, but his offense is an anachorism in today's game, especially against elite teams. 20 foot jumpers and 18 foot turnarounds is shitty offense. He's not better than Love right now.

I think Green would be a very good addition. I think he would wind up givingLeBron more rest because Green would provide defense to that first unit and this team could build leads better. How many times did we have Love firing threes in the first, Kyrie scoring, LeBron, and wind up leading by only 2 or 3 or 4?

People don't realize that JR isn't a great defender in that starting unit while Green is still one of the best perimeter defenders as a two guard. They don't look for JR as much anymore and the offense is still deadly potent so while Green's peak is not as high on offense, overall, his impact is higher. Green would add a plus defender who the Spurs often put on Harden, Durant, good PGs since Parker couldn't guard them. Then you could bring JR off the bench with LeBron and help extend leads. Honestly, the team would build bigger leads, be able to rest LeBron perhaps a little more and perhaps have more in the tank come the finals. Not enough to get us over the top, but I think makes us better.

Green is on relatively big contract. For the last 2 years he has been on the decline. The only way I want any part of him is if we swap him for Shumpert. We should take a look at Houston with their fire sale and at Tony Allen. Memphis just announced they're not offering more than the vet minimum for next season. He's old, but he's still an elite defender. On limited minutes he can do wonders for us next season.

I'd do Tony Allen cheap, but we have to stop getting older.

We need TWO WAY PLAYERS. T----W----O W----A----Y. The two ways are OFFENSE and DEFENSE

You know who was a big LMA fan... David Griffith.

perhaps Dan Gilbert saved us from LA.

Actually Tony Allen will be a great bench acquisition.

how many defensive specialist dot he cavs have on their roster At the moment?

is one.. really too burdensome.

If you have a guy no one is guarding you use that guy for screens and picks.

Have you seen how the Warriors defend him? They completely ignore him on offense. If you thought TT was bad for spacing wait till you see this
Didn't know that. Agree we need more two way players or anyone who can slow down Durant for 5 minutes.

You're telling me you think the Warriors wouldn't be a little bit worried about facing a lineup of

Aldridge, Love, LBJ, Smith, and Kyrie?

The Warriors are a really really smart ball club. They won't enjoy defending that lineup compared to having TT there. Plus, we don't lose much rebounding. I say if the Spurs want that deal, we take it.

A huge part of the Warriors defense was centered around allowing TT free room to role straight to the basket because they knew he couldn't finish.

I swear to god if we trade Love for LMA and Green I'm fucking done with this team.

If LMA has a problem being utilized as a 2nd option on the Spurs, couldn't imagine how much he would be crying about being a 4th option here (we aren't ever trading Love for him). I'd be worried about him just being on our team at all honestly. Really don't want. And he never should have left the Blazers.

He would be the third option on a better team every other game that Love doesn't show up.
