Nance Jr, impresses me as a great 6'7" (without shoes) athlete with a center's skill set. His career 54.7% field goal percentage is excellent. His career 22.4% 3pt % is not so hot.

Shirt proceeds go to support Crohn's. Men's looks out of stock right now.

So it's just lucky that it is trolling Lebron. He had it in the playoffs

I thought his jumper looked pretty good at times last year. I think he could easily step out slightly further, especially in the corners, and become a respectable 3 pt shooter. That'd be a surefire way for him to guarantee a spot making good money in the league for a long time. He's a really really good defensive player and if he can work on not fouling as much and start shooting threes at a reasonable clip, he instantly becomes a starter that a lot of contending teams would love to have. He def. still has some real room to grow and get better and should have a bigger role to showcase himself in now. I really really think he was a great get in that trade, and it didn't even matter that we took Clarkson because they didn't even need a 2nd max slot open to attract LBJ.

Clarkson is a wild card to me. If he can reign his game some. Learn to pass etc he could be pretty good off the bench. Next year we should have practices and actual plays.

Book LNJR in for a few more 3s this upcoming season. His jumper is underrated and pretty silk, actually. We know he's been working on the deep ball this off season and I feel like once he unlocks that part of his game - a crucial attribute for most successful big men in today's NBA - he's going to transcend into something pretty special.

Nance's game should translate well in today's NBA. With his ability to get up the court with Sexton pushing the ball will lend itself to some easy buckets.

Don't even think it has to be 3s. A respectable 18' jumper would make him scary combined with his quickness for his size.

Sorta like that automatic jumper KG was devastating with

Larry is a solid rotational player.
He just isn't a guy that would win his overall matchup over a 7 games series as a starter,

Ante has much more potential as a starting big man.

Love wont play center, and will probably make issues with coaching. So Nance will be starting center. Or if Tristan puts back work in.

I hope not, but I think Nance and Zizic come off the bench together. I'd prefer Zizic start with Love.

There just isn't a good way to deal with TT beside starting him.

And that's why he has to play as a PF.

There is no real difference between PF and Center in the modern NBA.

Okay. lol

If Zizic is matched against a Center and Nance is matched against a PF, it makes all the difference in the world for both of them. Nance can dominate on the boards and all of a sudden he is the stronger player in that matchup.

Optimally, I want both of them to play together in time. Not to mention that having two good screen setters at the 4/5 is a difference maker for an offense if coached right.

You're talking about size differences not functional differences between the way PF and C operate on the court.

Yes, Zizic is bigger. Yes, being bigger makes a difference. Yes, I think Nance and Zizic can play together. If we call them both PF or C, how does that change it? It doesn't.
