LeBron James Jr.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He weighs 250 now.

If you think the kid in the pic above is only ten pounds lighter than present James, you are incorrect

Also the less fat you have, you bigger you look. Brad Pitt was 160lbs in fight club. That is the equivalent of James current weight when adjusting for height

How do you know he weighs 250? Because that's what he's listed at? I believe in 2010 someone with inside knowledge said he weighed 269 at training camp (yet he was never listed at 269).

He weighed 242 at the pre draft camp. Not sure what the argument is... Maybe he was 235ish in high school, but he as TyGuy said its hard to imagine he put on a ton of weight between HS and the camp.

how cool would it be to see a father-son duo in the NBA?
I'm honestly shocked we haven't seen this happen with someone, especially with guys being able to be a pro at 19. However it seems the guys in the NBA who were dads in their teens for some reason wash out much earlier than everyone else.

Is Damon Jones the ultimate hanger-on? Like, really dude? You're going to youth basketball games?

At such age, you can't really tell anything about how they're going to pan out. You can't tell that much from highlights either considering the competition level. It's a fun thread, but don't hype the kid too much.

You know the hype is going to be insane, especially with the media coverage when this kid is in his junior and senior year of high school.

They will probably be hyped no matter what, but only seriously hyped if they are actually good. My intention of this thread wasn't to hype them, but track the progress because the highlight reels are out there regardless. I was just having fun before imagining scenarios of LBJ jr. playing with LeBron etc. Who knows how good he will turn out. In perspective, even if they make it to an NBA team undrafted, that still means you are a very good player. Who knows how they will turn out, but I think it will be cool to track the progress regardless.

They will go to St V.

....he also wants to be in the NBA when LeBron Jr is eligible to be in the NBA....
You said that with a lot of confidence like it's inside knowledge I'm assuming. Great stuff, thanks.

I was actually just having a convo an hour ago with an NBA fan about how long LeBron was going to play. I said I think he has another 8-10 years left in him, but maybe he decides to retire earlier together with Wade and Melo.

If it's true he wants to be in the league with his kid, that is a guaranteed another 7-8 years if my math checks out. Also depends on how long the kid goes to college (or if there is even college requirements by then).

Huge potential, but he has to be really exceptional if he wants to meet expectations

Probably. The kids will have the choice when it comes time. I see no reason why they wouldn't pick St. V though.
