LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Rest Lebron and challenge the rest of the team. There's no doubt Lebron can turn it on in the playoffs. And the rest of the team need to be challenged to perform without the crutch of having Lebron on the court.
Haha, it's wayyyyyyyyy too late for that game. Our ability to play without LeBron hardly matters right now; we can't win games with him right now.

Playing without LeBron is so far down the priority list. Not in scope for this season & playoffs.

Anyone notice how thick LeBrons hair is tonight? Whatever his secret is, I gotta know. Hopefully it's his next business venture.

Still not rotating defensively; still not boxing a soul out.

He might as well put a lawn chair on the elbow whenever the team is on defense.

Just sit him down. No point playing him.

Also, ahve him work on his fucking FTs. Shooting FTs like Shaq used to. Atrocious.

LeBron James may be having a good offensive season, but his free throw shooting will absolutely cost the Cavs a playoff game or two if it continues this way. I highly doubt it's fixable either at this point in the season.

His defense was great in the first half and unremarkable in the second half. But he's clearly trying on that end and making an impact. I'd be more concerned about his offense. His jump shot seems to have abandoned him a bit recently. And his free throw shooting is straight up unacceptable for someone who shot in the mid 70s for much of his career.

Jump shot was pretty good in the first half, second half it was not good. Defense was good as you say in the first half.

Personally, I think he said "look dudes, I carried your asses in the first half and we're up 9. The rest of you basically sucked ass. I'm going to chill in the 3rd quarter, show me you can actually do something on your own."

Lebron was awesome in the 1st half, he is so much better when he is rested and fresh. The drop off when he gets tired and gassed is so glaring - turnovers, lazy 3's and jumpers, bad defense.

I really think he would have been better served this season going hard for ~35 mins a night, full bear like he did early in this game but in manageable minutes and none of the 12 mins straight shit in a quarter.

Would have forced the team to realize they can't just play the "Lebron save me" card. And Lue riding him like this to wins is not coaching, anyone can do that.

what are wins? I forget what they look like.

Was Wade on the bench or in the crowd? Seems like he ceases up when he's in his presence.

Man, his mechanics are so robotic. Nothing smooth at all about his his shooting form, its like he cocks the ball above his head and just snaps his forearm forward. Terrible in all ways...gotta get Damon Jones a shooting coach to relay what he learns to LBJ.

The only thing I even worry about with LeBron is honestly body language. We can sit here and nit pick at some of the smaller things he's just not doing (likely as a result of it being the tail end of the regular season) but the body language stuff is something he can easily control, yet he does not.

We'll have possessions in the 1st quarter where a team scores, even on a really tough shot and LeBron will throw his arms up, look at the bench and act like someone just hit an unguarded game winning shot against us. I mean, holy shit man, just take the ball out and move on.

Ultimately, this entire stretch has been about attitude and effort. In my experience playing sports, teams with bad attitudes rarely exert or are able to exert maximum effort. I honestly think that is a major driver here. Are there some personnel problems cropping up? Sure. Are there tactical coaching problems coming up? Yes. Have there been injuries? Absolutely. But you have 3 All-Star players and a cast of supporting guys that are so much better than 90% of the teams in the league that you should be able to just drag yourself to ugly wins if the team just plays hard and doesn't bicker.

I think that is the most frustrating thing for me.....just how we go through the periods where the on court demeanor gets a little acidic.

Besides the free throws my biggest bitch about Lebron is that he's making way too many lazy, sloppy passes. Even when the ball gets there the guy catching the pass has been having to chase it down. It's a far cry from when Lebron is putting the ball in perfect position for a quick shot.

He did have ONE good game shooting free throws and I can only hope he can re-capture that in the playoffs.
