LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
LeBron James a mega star and world wide known. He won or helped win one with the Indians doing the same shit. He made and gave his promise and the team was magic. I could care less about the NBA AND LeBron, however I want to see Rose play with LeBron.
colored me confused.

I think him forcing Gilbert to give his friends above market deals was the killer. I think LeBron thought we could win with that roster for the next 5 years. Nobody even fought with us for TT so him getting 82 million was horrible. He should've gotten 60 mil tops seeing that hes unplayable VS GS. JR Smith got a 1 year deal from Philly for around 16-18 mil but literally no one else was willing to give him more than 1 year. We not only gave him more than anybody would have ever given him, we gave him a 4 year contract. The Shumpert deal was great at the time he signed it, but dude has regressed so much that he makes that seem like a horrible contract as well. To be a 3 and D guy he cant shoot 3s or play D. Shumpert's presence is basically only forgiven because having him around allows us to see Teyanna Taylor's beautiful ass from time to time.

Let's not forget how important Tristan was vs Golden State before Durant went there. TT was huge vs them in 2015, which is probably why he held out and got that deal. He's making less than Bismack Biyambo. It's just now, after Durant changed the face of the NBA by adding a 4th Allstar (and becoming their best player) where you need a two way player from all positions vs Golden State. I'm pretty confident if they just had Barnes, we would be facing a different team in the finals.

JR outside of Kyrie and LeBron, was the only guy who could score in the second half of game 7. He definitely deserved more than Shump, which he got. I just wish we didn't waste money on Shump and let him walk while keeping Delly (who wasn't great against Golden State but made TT useful on offense).

To be honest, a lot of this lies on Griffin making the wrong decisions for the team, not signing a point guard to keep Kyrie fresh, not even having a backup center for the team, ect. We had minimal resources but there were still players available who could have temporarily helped. That and Lue fucking up minutes played. Tristan was run into the ground by the end of the season. Some restructuring needs to be done.

Another example of injuries helping others get big contracts.

If Kevin Love never gets hurt in 2015 I don't think TT would have got as big of a deal as he did. Remember Mozgov was playing very well and Love was starting to find his groove before his shoulder was ripped out. TT stepped on dominated the Bulls, Hawks and Warriors on the glass.

I still get upset about the injuries/bad luck on 2015. Could have 2 championships right now..

Outside of this year, the last two finals really could have gone either way.

It has been known for a while that George and the Lakers have mutual interest when he becomes a free agent, but if the Lakers are found guilty of tampering the consequences could be severe and could included forfeiting draft picks, not being allowed to sign George next summer, or fines and suspensions for the people who were tampering.

For that to happen the investigation would have to reveal some substantial evidence that tampering took place though, which won’t be easy to do.

Tristan Thompson is the 14th highest paid center in the NBA.
Thompson is 27th out of 52 in production per value with 11 of those ahead of him on rookie contracts.

in production per games played Tristan is 23rd with 6 of the players ahead of him on Rookie contracts.

If you want to blame Bron for anything in regards to our cap, it should be for orchestrating the trade for Love ...he pulled for it and was clear from the fact he never included Wiggins or Bennett in his coming home letter. Which that whole letter was a walking contradiction in itself ...he talked about how winning a chip would require so much patience on his end yet his intentions were to ship Wiggins out without even giving him a chance. The Love trade only gave us a 2 year window ...keeping Wiggins, the 1st rd pick (which turned out to be Tyus Jones), and $15 MIL in salary cap would've extended the Cavs window well beyond this year.

And we more than likely wouldn't have an NBA Championship right now.

True. Kevin Love carried us with his...

Game 3 - DNP
Game 5 - 2 pts, 3 rb
Game 6 - 7pts, 3 rb
Game 7 - 9 pts, 14 rb

Andrew Wiggins could never scratch the surface of those numbers

Lebron is culpable in his own way, just as Griffin, Gilbert, Irving and in some ways Durant all are. It was a group effort to get where the Cavs are today.

James likes free agency (in fact, he LOVES free agency). He loves the speculation, the articles about where he will go, the unnamed sources, the squirming it causes the ownership team and their front office. All of that: Lebron loves it. But it's a double edged sword for him as nobody can take a long view which results in each team chasing the previous season's winner.

I put most of the turmoil on Gilbert though. He may be willing to spend, but he's either unwilling or incapable of creating a stable franchise (and James helps play into this as well by never committing). The easiest thing he could have done was re-sign Griffin and move forward.

Honestly, I think his best play to keep Lebron is offer to sell the team to the horsemen and put a statue of him on the street if he re-signs.

The Pacers are so inept that it's laughable. Lakers tend to push it from an organizational standpoint more so than any other team but tampering is nearly impossible to govern with only minor fines being dished out. Besides the Riley snake move from NY to Miami (cost them a monetary fine plus a 1st round pick) these things are hard to prove. Players often do most of the heavy lifting so unless there is recorded conversation or an email out there from a front office personnel or an owner you're out of luck.
