LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I wouldn't let him go either. If it ever clicks for him watch out.

I'd cut Felder in a heart beat.

Agreed. Whiteside was also a scrub on his first stint with the Kings. He spent a few seasons in China and got back when he was 25. Same age Tavares is now. Who knows. He won't get much faster, but he could really figure out how to use that crazy length of his.

When you have the Knicks by the balls, don't make it easy for them. The Knicks would love for Lebron to lobby for Carmelo or for Carmelo to want to go to Cleveland to start a two team bidding war between Houston and Cleveland. Lebron no doubt understands keeping trade values low for players he might be interested in.

Because Melo has literally said time and time again that he doesnt want to play in Cleveland. Like I said ony very first post here. I got crapped on by the delusional people on this board. Well look who was right.

You don't exactly have proof that the Cavs and Knicks had a deal in place that Melo scrapped either...

I'm fairly confident he'd accept coming here if a trade were agreed upon, but the Cavs don't value him enough to give up a legitimate asset now that they have Crowder with whom Melo would compete for minutes.

Imagine a lineup with Lebron at the 1, PG13 at the 2 and Melo(yes Melo) at the 3... you just force the other team to take their PG out of the fucking game.. each and every one of these playerrs will take advantage of the mismatch either in the post or other way.

This is the exact recipe I've been looking for the Cavs to exploit. We were wise enough to try and attack Curry in the pick n roll with Bron and Kyrie to tryin get him in foul trouble. But the problem was GS was still able to hide him on JR/Jefferson/Shumpert ...any bum we would bring in who couldn't create their own shot or post-up to take advantage of the mismatch.

I believe we can find a worse, but effective alternative this season.. I believe we need to go big at the 1,2 and 3 positions to be the most dangerous on both sides of the floor.

Hello - Denver Nuggets! If only we could get our hands on Wilson Chandler and Faried. They would fit perfectly in a Bigish - Small ball lineup that could take advantage of mismatches.

Bron
Wade/JR
Chandler/Osman
Crowder/Green
Faried/Love

That lineup would give GS problems on both ends!

With Millsap and Hernangomez Faried should be expandable. Wilson Chandler on the other hand, is their only true SF on the depth chart and I would hate to have to give up Osman.

Shumpert + Tristan + Jefferson + plus late Clev 1st and 2nd

for

Chandler + Faried

Faried can't play Center and should not be a target for us. He can play bully ball at the 4 in certain lineups, but should we waste assets just for that?

Wilson Chandler at this point is not a creator and is not an efficient isolation scorer.. he is a streaky shooter with occasionaly good defense.

Let's see how the season unfolds, but I'd like for us to look at different targets.

Unortunately, I was pretty excited for our rookies, but the last tweet regarding Lue really soured me on Lue once again. what's the point in keeping them if they ain't even gonna get minutes? I was fairly optimistic that they would get minutes when we were shallow, but now that we are deep with tons of vets, it's hard for me to see Lue giving them minutes.

It's just so confusing.. I believe our young players can contribute if given minutes surrounded with so many vets and LEbron, but if the coach isn't going to play them, maybe we should flip them for immediate help?
But then, if Lebron leaves again, we are fucked again and I sure as hell don't want Lue here in the rebuilding phase.

Yeah I suppose I'm envisioning Chandler, pre-hip injury (heard he has the same issue as IT). And I'm a little higher on Faried. He's more mobile than TT and posts a 20.36 PER without a high usage rate. Which tells me he knows how to play extremely well off the ball. I would flip him for TT straight-up.

What was the tweet? Do you have a link? Lue's not giving these guys any minutes. I've already accepted that. Even if he does their leash will be so short they won't be given opportunity to make mistakes. I thought Felder had potential but Lue ruined his confidence.

It's a catch 22, if we flip our younger players their value will be low due to Lue having not played them enough to showcase their talent.

Yeah I sup

Yeah, Faried looks in great shape and I think he is going to be great in his role, but he isn't a Center. He doesn't guard the perimeter well enough to be a small ball Center, he isn't good at closing out on shooters from the 3pt line or inside the arc for that matter and he is a terrible rim protector aswell..

for example, TT's DFG% last season was 52% at the rim, Faried's was an abysmal 63%.. I don't think TT is that great and he isn't one of the best at closing out either, but he is significantly better defender.

And I agree, their value is only going to suffer as the season progresses.

https://www.amazon.com/How-Win-Friends-Influence-People/dp/1439167346

This grandfather of all people-skills books was first published in 1937. It was an overnight hit, eventually selling 15 million copies. How to Win Friends and Influence People is just as useful today as it was when it was first published, because Dale Carnegie had an understanding of human nature that will never be outdated. Financial success, Carnegie believed, is due 15 percent to professional knowledge and 85 percent to "the ability to express ideas, to assume leadership, and to arouse enthusiasm among people." He teaches these skills through underlying principles of dealing with people so that they feel important and appreciated. He also emphasizes fundamental techniques for handling people without making them feel manipulated. Carnegie says you can make someone want to do what you want them to by seeing the situation from the other person's point of view and "arousing in the other person an eager want." You learn how to make people like you, win people over to your way of thinking, and change people without causing offense or arousing resentment. For instance, "let the other person feel that the idea is his or hers," and "talk about your own mistakes before criticizing the other person." Carnegie illustrates his points with anecdotes of historical figures, leaders of the business world, and everyday folks.

That McIntyre guy is not a credible insider and people trying to use his tweets to prop themselves up as "right" should probably rethink.

Fact: Melo was willing to waive his NTC to come to Cle in between a February and early July .

Fact: Chris Paul went to Houston, started recruiting Melo hard, and Morey started tampering with him. He changed his list from Cle+ Hou to just Hou, to try and force Phils hand.

Fact: It almost worked, Phil was about to trade him for Ryan Andersen. Then Got fired.

Fact: Scott Perry is leading the show in NY even though Mills may have final say technically...Dolan listens to Perry.

Fact: Perry will not trade Melo to Hou for Andersen.

Fact: Melos camp has no say in that.

Fact: Houston/NY talks are dead.

Fact: Portland and Cle have both shown interest in Melo. But there is no agreed upon deal with either team waiting on Melos approval.

Could he change his mind and go to Portland thanks to Dame n CJ recruiting? It's possible. It's also possible he could put Cleveland right back on the list as well.

But for now he's still trying to force his way to Houston.. He may not budge ever. He may budge tomorrow. He may budge closer to the deadline.

But the Knicks want some kind of positive return for him and aren't trading him for nothing.

But the whole "he never wanted Cleveland" is just absolutely false. He specifically told the Knicks Cleveland was on his list last year at the deadline and didn't change the list until Paul and Morey put the full court press on.

Carry on now.
