LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We talked a lot about Olympic Melo if it happened, but what about LeBron surrounded with smart, athletic players? I saw him do the same thing in the 2 games with his “new” team.

I have nothing against cashing in on a good player for a pick plus/or Love upgrade, but I think the “my iso your iso” times are behind him and this is how he is the best and we should not try to get him a single big gun if it means depletion of overall talent around him. If we bring anyone in he has to be the LeBron’s favorite type, humble.

This is how I see him getting the most out of him for the nex 3/4 years.

What is the likelihood of this happening?

All-Star MVP
: Check
Regular Season MVP : work in progress (I believe that is still possible if he averages a 25Pts+ triple-double in the last 28 games and Cavs lose only 3-4 games)
Finals MVP : pending? Never bet against LeBron and especially if he wins the RS MVP and has the option to win an MVP Grand-Slam

Watching this game also underlines how damn unfair it is that the Cavs have to go against Curry and KD and Klay and Draymond.

I think we should abandon the current roster seeding and seed the best players among all teams.

What's up with LeBrons voice?

He has his zest back. I was critical of him during the run up to the trade deadline, at times it was almost as if he was actively looking to lose, or perhaps more accurately looking to highlight the problems.

Players at his level, it is all about winning and being capable of competing for the championship, that is his motivation at this stage. Pretty clear 2 weeks ago that he did not have a roster capable of doing that, and that it was draining his mojo. Night and day difference in energy and engagement, beautiful to see.

Expect him to go on a tear over the next few weeks.

Those shoes though, like something Westbrook would wear.

Random, but oh well because the next game isn't until Thursday. Do you guys think the Cavs + KD could beat Team Steph in a 7 game series?

Not if team steph (assuming you mean the All Star team and not the Warriors) actually practiced together and ran actual plays. Let’s not forget that they had half of the best players on the world on their team.

Yeah I mean the All Star. After last night I'm thinking about how lethal of a duo KD and LeBron would be and what kind of teams they would be able to beat.

LeBron has to average 25 points for the next 2 seasons which is extremely possible at 34 and 35 years old. Then he has to average 21 points for 2 seasons after that at 36 and 37 years old. Finally, he has to average 17 points at age 38 and you'll be looking at the all time scoring king.

This is assuming he meets his average 75 games played per season.
