LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Warriors are whatever to me at this point. Couldn’t give a shit either way if they keep winning titles. I hope LeBron, on the other hand, never wins anything of consequence for the remainder of his career.

Agreed. 100 percent.

I actually agree with most of this (except the Kyrie part of course, but maybe the rumors of him going to the Knicks are true and I don't have to "root" for Boston because Fuck Golden Piss).

But yeah, if LeBron's Lakers manage to recruit stars there and up end the Golden Piss Reign of Terror, I will root for that every day. Any team that beats them really. They are the Cheatriots of the NBA

Agree with most of it as well.

I know that we'll agree to disagree with the posts between ours, but I think a lot of people are missing that if LeBron faced merely ordinary contenders during the past 4 years rather than GS we'd have 2-3 rings, and few people would really be upset about him leaving again - if he even would end up leaving this past offseason, instead 1+1ing his way to postponing his Hollywood dreams for a few years.

That was weird, watching Lebron and McGee team up today.

Man is it just me-but if Lebron has any sort of injury-this lakers team could be epically bad.

Just watching them line up against the Nuggets-and the Nuggets have FOUR players better than the next best player on the Lakers after Lebron.

That’s gonna be happening a lot for Lebron as he goes through this season.

Lebron is gonna have to be a super god just to keep them in games against the pelicans, warriors, rockets, nuggets, spurs, blazers, thunder, clippers, and jazz.

Might be the first time he’s made a really bad free agency decision...

Depends on what his goal was. I'm not so sure the goal of this move was to win more basketball games.

Philly was the clear destination if winning was the goal. Philly had the assets to acquire Kawhi and they would've pulled the trigger if LeBron agreed to sign there. Imagine a line-up of LeBron/Kawhi/Simmons/Embiid. That's just terrifying but he didn't even give them a meeting.

This Lakers team looks pretty mediocre if I'm being honest and might need to zap into LeBron's playoff mode just to get a top 8 seed in a competitive WC.

I think Lakers will be better than some think. I really like Ingram

I agree but..The Cavs were better than GS. That 71 win super team couldnt beat Bron and Kyrie.
It was KD that broke the NBA with his weak ass move. Now DMC....weak...so weak.

Yes and no, on the 73-9 team.

They peaked too early, through their own poor decision to go for the record, and were starting to play like a 55-win team towards the end of the regular season (both 55-win OKC and ourselves essentially played them to a draw,) but the sustained level of play that led them to being 73-9 qualifies them as an all-time-great team.

The 67-win first-year Greatest Show on hardWood team arguably peaked too early, as well, given their falling behind 2-1 against us and Memphis, just as we played our best late in most of both years (except for the 2015 injuries of course.)

Both teams can play what-ifs as long as the sky is blue for either of the pre-coward GS vs. Cavs years, but we won 1 and lost 1 of the Finals series that were actually played. I think out of 10 best-of-seven tries each team could've won 4, 5 or 6 tries both years, honestly.

And that decision is on him alone.
If the Lakers get pounded , I won't feel sorry for him.

Saw a couple of comments that are interesting.
I have a mixed bag of thoughts..while I still despise GS , I feel with way less emotion the move to LA.
I'm more concerned with the Cavs because I don't want to see them at the bottom like they were when LBJ left the first time.
I don't think that will happen, but it's hard to say what will happen this season.

Happy to see Father Time finally taking his pound of flesh. LeBron takes off like a 747 now not a fighter jet. LeBron’s been increasingly hiding his decline with decreased output and movement for years. I hope it gets worse.

The Lakers fan and organization are not entitled to an all time great at the height of his powers.

He'll regret his decision once he starts seeing that guy's don't want to play with him in LA if there's any truth to the Kawhi/Butler things we've seen about possibly joining LA.

Luke Walton liked the pace when Lebron wasn't in the game in the 2nd half.
