LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No way. The Kings were absolutely robbed in game 6. One of the worst travesties in the history of the NBA. No debate on that. Lakers had 27 free throws......IN THE 4TH QUARTER.

Ya, because they kept fouling! I'm sorry, but this narrative that the "fix" was in the for the Lakers has NO legs. Why? Why would the league NOT want an exciting, fresh, new team like the Kings have a fair shake at winning it all?

Again, Sacramento has NOBODY to blame but themselves for losing that series. They had chance after chance, and were given game 7 at home, which they BLEW.

So please, stop buying into nonsense that has no factual basis behind it other then opposing fan conjecture. This argument that teams were "robbed" can be made any season in any playoff game against any team.

Was MJ really befriending players so that they would take it "easy on him"!? League pushing Jordan? Oh noes! MJ robbed Barkley, Ewing, and so many others of so many titles! That notion is ridiculous.

It’s been admitted that the fix was in and Sacramento got screwed.

LeBron In particular is quickly learning that if you’re a superstar wearing purple and gold, your “special treatment” card gets revoked. I must have seen James get hacked, mauled, and clobbered on numerous occasions thus far with the Lakers with no calls.

He’s in actuality, easily the most fouled player in the league currently, but these zebras don’t seem to care now that he’s in LA.

Im not buying into any narrative. That whole game is on Youtube and I have watched it. Those were the worst calls i have ever seen in a game. Not just one or two, a whole quarter of them. It didnt earn its status as the most rigged game of all time for nothing. And as for game 7,,,,there should have never been one!

This is a blend of Laker hate and the obtuse nature of Queens fans stuck in 2002. Get over it and enjoy Buddy Hield.

Worse calls you've ever seen? Then I guess you don't watch much modern NBA, or James Harden for that matter.

A referee involved in the game admitting that they were trying to force a game 7 is conjecture?
Was Donaghy actually in that game? Man. I thought he just gave his opinion it was fixed.

No, fans from Maine to New Zealand all know that game was rigged.

Donoghy claimed that the NBA hierarchy instigated the fix in 2002 - that the referees received an NBA-approved message to manipulate Game 6 in the perceived best interests of the league - and that the NBA persists in this odious practice.

There was no factual basis behind the allegation other then crackpot Donoghy trying to cover his own ass. To this day there has been no actual substantial proof that there was a fix. The narrative was pushed hard by Laker haters, which you are one of.

And that's fine. I'm on a Cavs forum. But until you provide me substantial proof, with legitimate convictions other then Donoghy, who wasn't convicted for betting on game 6 or 7. Just a desperate man trying to point the finger at anyone but himself.

Once again, by substantiating his claim, you are stating that the NBA rigs games for specific teams. MJ and the Bulls received similar hush hush allegations of this sort in the 90's. Difference was, people also recognized that MJ and the Bulls were dominant and a good enough team to beat anyone.

Apparently, none of you will admit that Shaq was a dominant unstoppable Force, with a sidekick that would have been a number one option on any other team. But okay, Lakers playing well and drawing more fouls means it's rigged. Then every game where one team shoots substantially more free throws then the other is rigged.

The 27 fuckin' free throws in the 4th quarter is not only substantial proof, it's incontrovertible proof.

Bullshit. Once again, I point to Harden, who has made 169 more free throws then field goals in his career. Is the game fixed in his favor???
