So i was watching Jalen and Jacoby today and they were saying how active Lebron is being right now recruiting free agents. They mentioned a couple guys then they said and Kawhi. I thought to myself, wait a minute, Kawhi???? Isnt he trying to win it all right now for Toronto? No way on earth should a guy be allowed to be recruiting a player who is playing for ANOTHER team in the ECF. Something is tainted and wrong with that.

Pretty amazing that the past few years are literally the first full-fledged, long-term rebuild in franchise history, with how they only had 5 playoff misses during their existence before now.

At this rate, they'll be, on average, an average-ish franchise in no time.
 
The Lakers of 1960-2011 were a feat to their own. 2 Historically great centers who weren't drafted by them, but badly wanted to play there with several years of prime ability left. Lucking into Magic Johnson(though, I think that was fixed) and getting Koby late in the lottery before people trusted HS prospects. But all parties end. The party has ended and their rebuild was shitty poor.

Yeah, looks like Kyrie is gonna be a Laker. What a pussy. Cant win on his own so he runs back to his daddy Lebron after he complained and whined because Lebron was getting all the glory. Just an absolute pussy move.

Don't forget the Cavaliers trading them what turned out to be the 1st pick in the 1982 Draft (James Worthy) for Don Ford. And they got the Magic Johnson pick from the New Orleans Jazz for 35-year old Gail Goodrich. Trades like that would never be made in this day and age, not the way teams covet draft picks.

I really dont think Kyrie is going back to play with LeBron. I think hes using LBJ as a prop to make himself look like a big shot. I think Kyrie views himself as ascending to LeBrons level now, and all of this apologizing and "I understand how you felt" crap is him trying to send the message to everyone of "See, I'm a team leader now so I get it. LeBron and me are the same now". Hes trying to BE LeBron and act like equals, because he views himself as that dominant and special.

I could be wrong, but for those reasons, I dont see him signing in LA. And if he does, you are dead on with it being an all time pussy move.
 
If I were Lakers management I’d be awfully nervous giving max money to Kyrie, while living in SoCal, with an aging Bron on roster.

I think that ends horribly.....
 
So if Kyrie does sign in LA i wonder who the third superstar or all- star will be to compete Lebrons third superteam. Any guesses? AD would be nauseating.

It's also hilarious to see Lakers fans and the media act like Kyrie+LeBron in LA equals a championship. These are the same idiots who laughed at the Cavs and said they had no chance against GS when the Kyrie-LBJ team was getting waxed by the Dubs the year after winning the chip.

Yes KD may leave, but they are still pretty great without him and will likely look to add more pieces. They aren't just going to let their window close while the LA Cavs come by and scoop up titles.
