Let it all out. The Cavaliers Rant Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He came back in and we were up by like 5 or something so he just kept letting Orlando score and then kept either taking contested jumpers or purposely diverting the ball from a good spot to a bad spot.....IT found him inside for a couple easy buckets and he zipped passes from under the rim uncontested to the perimeter instead of finishing. He was throwing knuckleballs at IT's feet to make him bobble the pass. He saw Jeff Green under the basket for a wide open dunk and looked him off and fired a bullet turnover right into a passing lane two Magic guys were already jumping...

Oh, the other egregious play was where someone found him for a layup, and he tried to kick it to IT (who wasn't open), and IT had to throw up a prayer in the corner while double teamed.

What the fuck? Give this man two weeks off.

And yet we still have people on here who want to appease LeBron.

If I'm Gilbert, after what I just saw, I'd dig my heels in further and tell LeBron not only am I not trading the Brooklyn pick, but you're suspended for the rest of the season, pack up your locker and go the fuck home. Oh, and don't worry about the off-season. The Cavs will not be extended an offer to you. I would then go up to the podium after the game and announce to every reporter there what just occurred and that you will be happy to field their questions.

Calma, Crat. Calma.

That's further than I'd go but I understand how you feel.

I'd suspend him, but I wouldn't do it publicly...I'd do it off the books, privately...and tell him he's done until the all-star break is over and tell him to go to Miami and that Wade can have a leave of absence to join him. They can go get all roided up and bang sloots on their yacht 18 hours a day for all I care.

I'd just tell him to come back ready to compete for a title, and that I was gonna change some stuff he wants changed about the roster...no promises on the Brooklyn pick but I would promise to make at least one real trade for a rotation player to improve the team...if he promises to come back from his vacation and give me 1000% for the rest of this season...and when the summer comes...whatever happens...happens. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

But I almost feel like we need to get him away from most of the team right now...he's literally poisoning them more and more on a nightly basis. Get him away from Cedi...get him away from the Boston guys and we'll let them focus on getting their groove back while he's gone. Get him him away from JR and Love and force those guys to go watch tape over and over and over of the title team and to forget about the nonsense LeBron is putting into their heads.

Good one

THIS.

You tell LeBron to take a week or so off. Take a mental breather. During that week or so off, tell him to work on his FTs and 3-Point Shooting. That has completely gone down the drain.

In the mean time, you get Lue the fuck out. Our defense is the 2nd worst in the league. That is unacceptable for a team trying to win a Championship. And less said about the rotation, the better.

Now to the trades, you do what you feel is right. The Brooklyn Pick is the key obviously. But unless you get an All-NBA calibre player in return, don't trade that pick. Do whatever else trades you need to upgrade the roster.

When LeBron comes back in a week or so, have a new coaching staff with a different looking and hopefully upgraded roster. Combined what we did in January 2015 and January 2016.

This team needs retooling. Plain & Simple.

You guys are really being unfair to LBJ, and after all he's done for this team and this city.

It was obvious that pesky elbow was acting up on him again....

:chuckle:

I'm sorry, but isn't there something seriously wrong with this?

We practically get a week off, almost, at times with how this new schedule is.

We get lots of 3 days off, and he still comes out flat, non-energetic, and flat out not giving a fuck.

It's kinda pathetic, given the NBA went out of their way, to accommodate these players so they don't have to play as much throughout the week.

So they wouldn't rest anymore.

The guy is just a spoiled prima donna if you ask me.

Love the guy. Is my favorite player.

And while I can understand why he is so frustrated, he needs to realize shit like this doesn't help anyone.

If he is pissed with the front office, tell them in their face straight-up.

Well, we knew that for almost a decade.

Man is a passive-aggressive primadonna who behaves like a bitch at times.

But thats the thing with great players. Everyone has different kind of demons and stuff. With LeBron, its his primadonna attitude etc. So, you just have to take the bad with the good.

And, I don't think there's anything wrong with taking a week or so break. You have to consider that fatigue isn't just physical fatigue. Mental fatigue is also pretty big issue.

The guy has 50,000+ minutes on his legs and is expected to play at a god-like level for this team to be able to compete for a championship. I don't think it's unreasonable for him to want a little rest from time to time

Then rest on the bench. Not on the court.
