yes, I know "after the title". but after his role IN that title win.... he should have been untradeable.

Kyrie had the option to leave in 2014, AFTER they drafted horribly and they were still in the lottery and he stayed. I remember his tweet after this. Then LeBron came back. It was like the greatest moment ever... until 2 years later. So as far as I'm concerned he definitely held on to his word.

Well, turning down RFA max extensions is basically unheard of.

You can see from his body language in G7 2016 that he wanted out then - i.e. not helping Bron up from the Draymond foul - but you can't trade him after that offseason regardless.
 
Can we get some of these made in the likeness of some of our players?

This team SUCKS!!!! Can’t shoot, can’t defend, we got a bunch of mini-mees starting, no wings, no PFs, no spacing, no offensive flow or options, too many turnovers, Love and Drummond make $60 mil between them.

We’re not tanking. That implies a conscious decision to try to lose. We’re bad on (de)merit.

Me myself, I'm starting to question the coaching because no matter who you draft a bad coach can stunt their growth

Strangely, I have nothing. When they play and lose like this, I have really nothing to add. We can see what's wrong. This team isn't serious right now.
 
I wonder how much better we’d be if we had TT instead of Drummond.

Moot point though, as SexLand will always hold us back by being trash defensively.

At least we have Nance and Cedi locked up...good lord.
 
I swear to god if Koby drafts someone smaller than 6’7” in the lottery I will have to consider taking off a season for the first time in 25 years
 
Basketball is a results based profession

For some teams, the results are based on record and playoff run

For others, it’s based more on player development and how the team plays(both tactically and energy/effort)

For whatever the reasons were, the early season results looked promising. It’s in complete reverse now.

Regardless of the record, if there is not a significant turnaround in how the team consistently plays(tactical and energy/effort) and some consistent development over pods of games(you can’t judge on a yo yo every game basis), then Koby and Bickerstaff will not be deserving of any benefit of the doubt or any confidence.

There are 47 games left and I suspect it is going to continue to slide as the confidence, buy in, and camaraderie have all vanished. But there absolutely needs to be a sustained turnaround in the way they play or no one deserves to be safe.

I would still caution on completely giving up long term on individual players who have played under 100 NBA games and two in particular that haven’t even played 30, but at the same time, I completely acknowledge that NO ONE on this roster has earned the benefit of the doubt as a potential franchise cornerstone. Could that change over the next 3 months, 9 months or 18 months? Sure. But it doesn’t change until it is earned and shown.

Why are we playing Jarett Allen and Andre Drummond of all people together for significant minutes?
I mean come it's 2021 and even you're able to pull David Robinson and Tim Duncan out of your ass I don't think it would work all that well.
And Andre Drummond Jarrett Allen are tugboat captains compared to the Admiral.

I'm not a fan of Koby Altman but JBB I don't understand either
 
Everything about the Cavs is maddening lately. I am sure Koby understands we need length. How many 6'5 forwards with 7'7 inch length????
