Initially, I was with that same view that people should just ignore him.

But there's a limit for everything and he has crossed it. Now people can't just pass this off as just some trolling. The man has zero fucking class. Nip this shit in the bud.

My point is why let that get you worked up. Not saying that you are but I don't understand the people who are worked up about him. We all know what time it is with him. We can all see the game. People are just allowing themselves to get played.

Look IM not worked up. I want people less sensitive and free to express themselves. Just noting that the temperature in this thread is testament to the reaction his antics will receive.

Many people deployed these tactics in the 90s. It worked to get many feet in the door. But you dont hear much of norm macdonald, howard stern, david spade etc because you make enemies and people wont support you. Donald trump did the same thing. Maybe the only person thats made it work and kept it working was Eminem.

Youll get attention. The guy doesnt need it. His sons game is good enough. This is an impediment to his career and well being and will provide him issues.

I disagree that this will cause many issues with Lonzo when he's in the NBA. There have been NBA players who sell drugs, fuck teammates wives, drive drunk, blackmail, and more crazy shit. If the worst thing for Lonzo is his dad talking wreckless shit he'll be fine.

I think more of that is people hoping it causes issues for Lonzo because people love to hate on athletes and entertainers and wish ill will on them. There are people hoping and praying for injuries to Draymond and Curry right now in other threads as we speak :chuckle: Fans can be fucking horrible. Sometimes people get in their feelings and most of it is jealousy because these guys are filthy rich and we say and hope for stupid shit as fans.

If he continues to cause problems, you'll see his son with less positive opportunities than he'd have if lavar was quiet. He's going to be a problem with negotiations id imagine. If he has the skill to make it work, good on him, but he's putting a lot at risk.

Its possible people feel bad for zo bc of his dad, but i think this will make people want to stay away. For everyone that stays away, you have less opportunity and less competition for your brand which means lower profit (generally).

Rich paul is fucked the moment he loses his bron leverage, for example. The world will want him to lose.

But I also remember when people hated Rich Paul so much (for whatever reason) they were sure that he'd just be LeBron's agent and nothing more. He's got TT, John Wall, and many more and you don't even hear that talk anymore. Now when you hear Rich Paul the first thing people note is that you better come correct when you negotiate with him. It's hard to see it right now but one day LaVar could have his perception changed as well.

Most halfway-intelligent people -- and that includes LaVar -- know that there is a time and a place for everything. Obviously, if this is something with which the "mainstream" is unfamiliar, then there must be a shitload of black guys out there who are not talking like this in public, in a business context, no matter how they may or may not talk in the barbershop.

Believe it or not, the same actually holds true all people, regardless of race. I'd say that most white people probably don't talk the same way at work that they do when hanging out with friends. Guys don't talk the same way on the shop floor as they may with customers (at least not if they want to get promoted). There is gym talk, sports talk, bar talk, locker room and then there is business talk.

To the extent someone wants to make this racial, it's frankly a good thing that people aren't condescending to him by assuming "that's okay, that's just how "they" talk. The vast majority of people realize there's absolutely no reason a black guy shouldn't be just as professional and classy as anyone else, in part because we've all seen plenty of successful black people doing exactly that.
 
Lavar Ball is trolling, he created a "Stay in yo lane" T-shirt referring to that chick. Get this, he even made one for females.
