Lonzo Ball

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
LaMelo is actually ranked pretty high amongst scouts, but I just don't see it. Top 5 in most cases. He's a 6'3" PG that can shoot. I cant see him panning out in college, where you are forced to play a system. I could see him being a sold, but not great pro.

LiAngelo will be lucky to play in Europe. He may catch on in China because of his brother's success here in the US, and Lavar will claim "he's big over there....bigger than Marbury".

I don't like LaMelo's style of play but I actually do think he can be successful in the NBA. Dude is 6'3" at 15 years old. And if his brother ends up in LA, dude will have summers with his brother who plays in the NBA to workout and play against NBA level talent. I'm sure he'll even have opportunities to hang with Lakers players and practise with them. I personally think he has the most upside because he'll probably end up as a 6'7" or 6'8" point guard who can actually shoot the basketball. Think MCW but with shooting ability. If he actually plays defense eventually (which, high school basketball isn't known for defense regardless of location and offense is the driving factor of the NBA), he has a higher ceiling than Lonzo. Just cut that 40 foot with 20 seconds on the shotclock shots out and stop cherrypicking.

I want him to fail because of Lavar, but I do think he can be a top draft pick if he matures.

LiAngelo is definitely the worst out of the 3 by a wide wide margin, but 2/3 is impressive.

Both my wife & I are average height but stocky builds. I played RB for a very brief college career, and my wife is a distance runner with broad shoulders. She has quads like a soccer player & the ass to match.

Any chance we have those same odds build...with creating children?

(LOL I read this portion as Lavar genetically planning who he would have kids with, the rest was a great post).

If you cut out the last two sentences this reads like a classic @sportscoach post

also pls change signature to Putrid for Peppers and Gastrointestinal for Garrett

Sorry, I'd like to hear more about your wife's ass.

Lakers already had a lot of unwelcome drama with DeAngelo Russell, and it's reasonable for them to be nervous about adding more. Having LaVar at every home game and spouting off on a daily basis might be a real concern.

Best thing for both Lonzo and whatever team that drafts him is for that team to be located as far from L.A. as possible.

Sounds like Philadelphia will pass on him as well.....so that leaves Phoenix and Sacramento in the top 5. Unless Boston takes him at 1

I heard Ced Cebalos say the Celtics were making a big mistake not taking Lonzo Ball because Ball would play the 3, and they need a 3.

Now I don't watch a ton of college ball, but that sounded hilariously stupid to me. Was it as stupid as it sounded?

Its stupid. You are correct. I heard his comment as well. He is suggesting they run 3 guards while they have the team. Lonzo could then transition long term to the PG.

I still say Celtics should draft him and hold him ransom for Fultz & some asset.

Wait I don't understand. I don't watch college basketball, but everything I've read has Fultz ahead of Ball. Then when you pair that with the heavy baggage of Lavar, why would someone part with assets to get Lonzo if they could get Fultz?

I truly believe Ball has dropped due to public perception. Something is telling me he has been playing & talking his way to LA.

But why would LA prefer Ball to Fultz if Fultz is the better player/less baggage?

I get Lonzo wanting to play in LA. Don't get the Lakers preferring Ball.
