If I had to guess, he will go back into time to give to Pym in the 90s via a post credits scene in Captain Marvel since he will likely get trapped in a vortex. Fury then needs Pym & Stark to work together to help make controllable time travel. Develop it for so many years and then after the battle of NY (photos of set with Antman), take the fight to Thanos via those swanky bracelets & suits we now see in the new promo material. Then again all the promo material includes only the survivors. Can't tell if it's a swerve or the people left will go back and create an alt time line. Only thing about that is you would essentially just have a handful of the newer characters without their memories of battling Thanos.I thought Ant Man and the Wasp was a good Ant Man movie...in the same way that Deadpool 2 was a great Deadpool movie.
It was fun and funny and did a really good job choreographing the shrinking and enlarging scenes. They also came up with some creative ways to use that tech.
I could have used a bit more on the "villain" though.
I also am curious about the significance of the first end credit scene. I understand the ashes, but what about the stuff Scott is harnessing?
My words of nearly a decade ago were, at the time, totally failed and unfortunate efforts to be provocative. I have regretted them for many years since — not just because they were stupid, not at all funny, wildly insensitive, and certainly not provocative like I had hoped, but also because they don’t reflect the person I am today or have been for some time.
Regardless of how much time has passed, I understand and accept the business decisions taken today. Even these many years later, I take full responsibility for the way I conducted myself then. All I can do now, beyond offering my sincere and heartfelt regret, is to be the best human being I can be: accepting, understanding, committed to equality, and far more thoughtful about my public statements and my obligations to our public discourse. To everyone inside my industry and beyond, I again offer my deepest apologies. Love to all.
James Gunn has been fired from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. Apparently he had a bunch of stupid tweets from a decade ago that he absolutely should have deleted where he joked about pedophilia and some other stuff as well. I guess he pissed off some conservative twitter personalities so they scoured his timeline looking for dirt and found it.
His statement:
I guess at least he owned up to it. Still shocked he never did a twitter purge, though. Just some really stupid tweets. Amazing that this keeps happening to people and yet none of these people ever go back and delete the stupid shit until after they're caught.
So Tweets. Has he been accused of anything?
Why are conservatives after him?
I think he's just been an outspoken critic of Trump, so they went through his timeline and found some offensive tweets to get him fired.
Dumb of him not to delete them. I saw a few of them and they were pretty bad. Reeked of someone trying to be edgy to be funny and failing pretty terribly (which is weird since he seems like he's got a good nose for comedy). He didn't do anything illegal or anything, but there's no way Disney was gonna keep him around once those things surfaced.
Well, that is the price for being stupid I guess.
Too bad, talented director.
Marvel being Marvel, I assume the movie will still be really good and make a bajillion dollars. They've apparently found the science to developing consistently enjoyable superhero movies.
Firing someone now for saying something stupid a decade back is just ridiculous especially from a company whose founder is an alleged Nazi sympathizer.
