It was....ok. It definitely isnt an outright clunker, but it's also not ready to join the pantheon of great MCU movies.

I'm extremely interested in seeing how she does with better direction. And the Russo Brothers are being handed something incredible. I'm interested in seeing how they handle such a godlike character.

Finally saw Captain Marvel.

Uhm, lame? Was solid, but also boring. She ended up being like the fifth best character in the whole movie.

Spiderverse was great.

Only criticism/question is whether or not they needed the other 3 spider-people. I thought it could have had a more intense tone without a spider pig. I see how they all helped develop Miles but was it really necessary?

The kids wanted to watch it again this morning, and I recommend it. There were cool subtle things interlaced that were hard to catch the first time.

Edit: I see what they did with the other characters. Thanks Reddit! I didn’t know all of these spider characters already existed. Makes much more sense now.

I enjoyed Captain Marvel particularly Fury, the funny Skrull lead, and the cat.

Main problem is that Brie Larson wasn't very good in terms of acting IMO. That's being kind: I thought she was pretty bad lol. Gadot, Johansson, lilly were much much better in their respective roles.

I know this is a Marvel thread, but Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman is about the best casting decision and performance since Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark, IMO.

Only 21 days until Endgame. According to theater networks, it’s the #1 fastest selling movie of all time by advanced ticket sales, completely shattering the previous record (which was Star Wars: Force Awakens).

I am hyped as hell.

We find out the fates of several prominent Starks in the coming weeks.

I'm considering this series done with Infinity War. Thanos did nothing wrong; the internet convinced me. Seeking balance in the universe? Noble. Now, if he had done all this just to impress Death, well, that would be f'ed up; but we didn't get that story line. But the dude probably just single handedly saved the environment while eliminating 50% of the super villains in the universe. Better record than the Avengers.
