Michael Sam - 1st openly gay football player

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Except for one season in 2004 I believe the SEC DPOY has never made it past the 33rd pick of the draft. Now, he did have a bad combine. But that is a massive drop for an SEC DPOY historically.

So historic the other DPOY didn't even get drafted...and he is straight. (no one mentions he was co-dpoy)

The other DPOY was CJ Mosely who was taken in the first round.

I think Michael Sam was a 3rd day pick. Definitely not a 7th rounder but can you really blame teams for not wanting that 'baggage' for someone that's maybe a 5th round talent?

Hope the St Louis Dispatch is ready to hold up their end of the bargain with suspicious headlines and pictures of Sam form tackling people from behind.

Michael Sam will not make it in the league for two reasons: 1) It appears to me he cares more about sine "gay movement" and capitalizing off of it than plying football, and 2) he just isn't that good, co-DPOY or not. Look at who his best games were against.

Was his combine bad because he had a half chub?

OK, this Michael Sam stuff has me scratching my head. I am all for people being themselves, so I am all for Michael Sam and him as a pioneer for others to follow. Now, that said, I can't see who in their right mind would want to do a show on Oprah TV when they are trying out to make a football team. This has to be one of the worst decisions ever. Like I could spend all day and not come up with anything as stupid as this idea. I don't give a damn that it was cancelled, that isn't the point. The point is you have a dude who says its all about football and he just knows that his ability and heart will get him on the team, and the casual fan like me says, "f- yeah, go for it my dude." Then I hear that he is doing a REALITY SHOW?!? You have got to be kidding me. Who is advising this guy?!?

You want to be judged on football and what happens on the field, then I am with that. Don't do a 180 ruin that playing field. So. Stupid.

Who the fuck goes to Applebee's for drinks?!

I am at Applebee's for drinks. Swear to Bob. I have no other options. :(

Sam lost me when he started sucking cake of his partner's face...wildly inappropriate....whether its 2 dudes or a guy and a girl...either way its wrong.

Back to Applebee's, I think I'd rather eat cake off Sam than eat here. I wish I was home. :(
