That was incredible to watch.

This is gonna set the world on fire.. Rhondawill never be relevant again

I'm glad Rousey lost. Way too cocky and disrespectful for my taste. Not touching gloves sealed it. After I saw the first round, I knew she lost. Way too emotional and reckless and Holm was focused and under control.

For those that want to watch it again.

In the great words of Mike Tyson... "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth."

Rousey really thought she was invincible too. She just got a huge wake up call. And got her ego checked. This might humble her a little bit.

I can't even believe she got knocked out though. I can during the fight after all the punches she took to the face before that kick. But I thought Holm would win by wearing her down, getting her shots in, and lasting all 5 rounds to get the decision.

At the same time, if Rousey wasn't so reckless, she could have won at any time with an arm bar by any misstep in the later rounds. But she is so used to winning in the 1st round (more like 1st 20 seconds) that I knew she wouldn't stay composed if Holm survived the 1st round.

I also think Rousey wanted to beat a boxer at boxing to answer critics of her upright game. Unfortunately, she was completely outclassed. I'm super surprised Rousey didn't go for more take downs.

Ronda was mentally lost......

Her corner was even more lost between rounds, telling her she was doing good, yeah good at eating punches as she chased at her lunging sloppy straights with her chin straight out.

Props to Holly for coming out a different fighter tonight though, watch her last 2 fights, everytime she would throw a combo she would often grab at her opponent after going for clinches. Was expecting that to happen again tonight and her to get instant tossed/subbed.

A tale of two game plans tonight.

Holm's was spectacular, while Rousey's was a disaster.

Ronda is a great fighter, but I definitely think winning three of her last four fights by knockout gave her and her team way more confidence in her striking ability than was warranted.

Holm was obviously masterful, but I think the seed on her winning this fight was planted at the weigh in when she put her fist on Ronda's face. Ronda was highly emotional on the verge of angry tears yesterday and it seemed that anger carried over into the fight, in a bad way.

It may or may not have worked, but it sure seems like Ronda would have been far better off going the "boring" route and just spamming the clinch/double leg to get Holm into an extended ground fight.

Lol... awful.

I agree with you completely. Add on the cheap shot punch after the 1st round bell. She's obviously very talented, but she has only had so much success because she was ahead of the sport on the women's side. Well, it looks like the competition has finally caught up and I'm damn glad to see it, especially in spectacular fashion like that.

Karma is a bitch...she should've touched gloves.

I could watch Holm side step her over and over and over again. It was like the wrestling corner spot where the face moves away from the heel and the heel eats shit.

I'm glad the cash cow came to earth and lost.
