Donaldson I believe overall is a better player and from what I have heard is liked in the clubhouse. He plays a solid 3B with a better average than Santana, though it's a bit dreaming, but having him in our lineup, would make us one scary team!!
Now I am not afraid to give Santana a couple year contract extension, to give time for Bradley/Nellie time to develop as our future 1st base, but it depends on the price since we gotta lock down Salazar, Bauer, Lindor within the next season/two.
