Moratorium On Signing Free Agents Pushed Back?

St. Paul Pioneer Press - The St. Paul Pioneer Press is reporting that the moratorium on signing free agents probably will be pushed back from Friday, July, 22nd to August 1st.

An official announcement could come soon. The new collective bargaining agreement has not been ratified, causing the delay.

There has been no specifics on which issues are causing the delay.

I don't see how they can do this indefinitely, they are screwing up teams' timing so bad. We could've signed Sarunas an hour ago if they just let it alone. :heated:

NBA official Tim Frank said no new target date was set, but a spokesman for the union said he expected the agreement to be finalized and free agents to begin signing by the middle of next week.
