Most of us do not like this team! Why ?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
To me, it always come down to the coaching. I am very much aware of the fact that any given time in the league, there are maybe 5-8 coaches that are widely considered as "above average" or "great coaches".

This fact is something am always peripherally aware of and can usually just ignore regardless of how good or bad the team is doing. But when the team is consistently underperforming, then it becomes like a throbbing headache that's hard to get rid of.

Just once, I'd like the Cavaliers to have one these top guys coaching the team.

It's very interesting, because LeBron has never had a high profile coach (not saying that automatically means great coach).

Pat Riley was about the closest thing in MIA, although not a coach.

Coach K, of course, on Team USA.

This and the fact this team blatantly does not even try in about 50% of the games in the regular season and even in some playoffs games
So are you saying that they should be more aggressive? ;)

It's been said more tines then I can count. Durant is much to blame. I have to wonder what this roster looks like if he doesn't go to GS? Does kyrie stay knowing he has a real shot at another championship? Do cavs even trade him if he still wanted out? We looked desperate to make moves based on GS addition and ended up with a team that looked very different then the one that brought us a championship.

We gave up the 2nd best player in franchise history for petty much peanuts.

I mean god I hope Nance Jr. and the lotto pick turn out, but that's a tough pill to swallow.

I also feel like we're wasting LeBron's time now. I felt after he got us the title in 16? We owed him another one in order to shut up the dipshit Jordan/Kobe jock riders and cement his status as the GOAT.

That's what angers me.

The weird thing to me is how much this forum seems to hate LeBron and act like its his fault he is playing with the LA Lakers Lite.

I think the Cavs were the 2nd best team in 2016. Just hit some shots. It was really close.

Done nothing to get better since then, even though they know other teams are running very sophisticated systems. No effort there.

Cavs sticking too this sorry defense until they lose in the East. Its crazy

I did a post in the Cavs rant kinda outlining this.

But yeah...just a lot of breaks didn't go our way to ensure a dynasty.

it's difficult as a whole to pull off even one title, and even for that? I'm grateful all things considered.

No one's blaming LeBron. But he had a hand in shaping the current state of the franchise. Do you really think Kyrie would've insisted on leaving if LeBron had catered to him more or addressed his concerns? A simple, "look man, i'm gonna be here past [date], so if you're cool with staying we can fix this and make it work long-term"? I don't.

You've been on this board for about 3 months. Not sure how long you've been following LeBron but many of us have been since day 1.

It's always interesting when evaluating the best player on the planet.

Dude without LeBron we're not here.

We're the fucking Raptors, or Hawks at best right now.

This is the price you pay for his level of talent.

Was thinking about this earlier but really didn’t know how to put it ? So just figured this was the way to go.

As someone who has been around here for quite some time it has become quite apparent that the majority of the fan base does not like this particular team. We love the franchise, we love having one of the best players of all time, having Larry Nance Jr (just cause) J.R. Smith will always hold a special place as will Kevin Love and we’re intrigued with Cedi and (for some of us) Zizic — that said; there’s something about this 2018 team most of us just can’t stand?

I’m watching these other teams and check out a forum or 2 when I have some time to see the tone of the talk with their teams — and outside of the Spurs, I don’t see a fan base who has as much disdain currently for their playoff team than us ?

Is it the fact most of us believe the team cannot win a title and we’re spoiled from earlier success? (I’m noticing this with the Spurs fan base as well)

We wish we had more success with LeBron’s career ?

Frustrated with the coach and personnel outside of LeBron ?

Disappointed that this team seems to have more outside noise and distractions than most ?

A bit envious that we don’t play a brand of ball that some of these other teams play ? (Team seems to not play hard on either end of the floor)

Just kinda wondering what it is specifically that most of us don’t like ? I’ll admit I cannot stand this 17-18 version of the Cavs and I have no reason as to why ? I just don’t like this team.. Even if they were to win a title (which would be great) I just can’t see myself enjoying this version of the Cavs.

One reason really doesn’t outweigh the other for me, but I just don’t like this squad whatsoever..From the way I feel about them to what I see from them on (and in some cases off) the court...
Thank you for your common sense post . I can answer your question . What you read in this particular forum is NOT the general consensus with pure Cavs fans . There is a toxic odor that has taken over this site where it’s hate everyone and everybody besides the Goat and 2nd string QB . Even Love sees his far share of trade rumors . It’s always the guys on another team they love the most . Silly gifs and poor jokes are the norm. Tell you what. Go to the Q the next game and talk to the people walking up. It’s a complete 180 all geared up head to toe .

If a couple of the real trolls who come on here daily spreading pure hate were removed , I think for the most part what you see will simmer down. But see I’m the troll for loving our team and having respect for players and coaches who brought the 1st championship to Cleveland in 50 years. Shit is ass backwards.

I've been following him since he was in his 8th grade. My best friend went to SVSM and was a few grades ahead before he moved to PA (where I am from).
