Most of us do not like this team! Why ?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I may be staging a walkout/boycott to have Daniel Gilbert fired as owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers. The city of Cleveland will take over ownership with a 5 man panel elected to oversee the FO and the team in general. Hire a GM and work with him to rebuild the team. Members of the 5 man panel must be NBA experienced. Player, coaching, FO experience etc.. Residents of the greater Cleveland area will partake in voting on the nominees.

This is just a general outline of said plan.

Okay, with that you go on ignore. You are an idiot. B-bye.

I will just say Hood is talented, but he needs to mature. I think Cedi is also going to earn a starting spot on some roster next year..

George Hill has been disappointing, but given the circumstances, he was the best of we could get.

I honestly think we should just try Lebron at pg, and play hood, cedi, love and NanceJr.

I like the thought of this, especially if we keep trying to switch basically everything like the Warriors do (which we've failed miserably at doing might I add).

Love/Cedi/Hood can still knock down the outside shot. Versatility on defense and doesn't jeopardize our outside shooting that much. It's worth a shot, especially if we get our asses handed to us again tonight.

It definitely isn't not liking this version of the team, as I still ride or die with them, but for me, it's losing Kyrie, a player whose style I didn't particularly like but also knew he was the perfect number 2, for nothing. And Tristan Thompson. That guy just has entitled written all over him and it's maddening. Oh and I really think Lue is an amateur at best coach.

Yes because Gilbert as done an amazing job wasting 15 years of the best basketball player ever by surrounding him with newbie incompetent FO management. Hell you and i could have worked from your moms basement as the teams GM and President the past 15 years and nailed down one Trophy just by taking polls on these forums of who to hire as coaching, trades and other moves. I willing to bet we would have more than one ship as well. It all started with Danny f’n Ferry and there is no way in hell I would even let him back in Cleveland let alone hire his ass to run my team.

LBJ should take much of the blame both times. The first he refused to commit long term and because of that no true star wanted to risk coming here, signing a 4 year deal and watching LBJ leave in a year or two

Same thing this time. If your "coming home" then come home and commit to it, do not come home for a visit.

If LBJ was locked into a long term, I am here until I retire contract then who we could get and who would be here would be much different. Say whatever you want about Gilbert but he will spend whatever money is needed.

But LBJ gets off on the drama of "will he or won't he". I simply do not care anymore. I know what we will be revert to when he leaves but hey, I am a Cleveland fan, I'm used to that

Dan Gilbert is 110% to blame for just 1 ship since buying the Cavs in 05. LBJ was what ? 20 years old? Dan did absolutely nothing whatsoever to help LeBron in any facet of the game. He provides him shitty rookie management who in turn hired shitty ass coaching. Not to mention shitty ass Larry Hughes type of deals and the cherry on top horrendous misuse of 3 #1 picks 4 in the top 4.

Again LeBron was fucking 20 when Danny boy bought his new shinny ass toy. He road the fucker hard and in to the ground. Expecting him the carry the team year after year for what 7 ? 8 seasons prior to Miami. Blaming LeBron in complete BS as the whole situation could have been avoided in the 1st place if Danny didn’t think he could run the team operations like he did with his loan shark company hiring young aggressive newbies working on commission. Fuck head spends hundreds of millions of dollars and his short ass wanted to be the tallest man in the room with it’s his way or the highway.

This is what fuck face should have done. And yes I have no problem saying it to his face so don’t ask.

1. Buy the team

2. Hire the best basketball minds money can buy.

3. Shut the fuck up and let them do their job. I wanted to punch him in the face every time I seen him give an interview. Careless what he had to say. Like talking to a plumber about heart surgery.

sorry, cant put the blame on him alone. No matter how much you say fuck

LBJ has never, ever tried to recruit anyone here

His passive aggressive behavior always creates drama and led to fucking (lol) Irving leaving

Name me one year when the alpha dog ever fostered a cohesive locker room here

I am not saying Gilbert is blameless but part of me feels if he is spending as much money as he is he can speak his mind. Jesus H, he is not the only owner to speak up in major sports

As for coaching other than a handful of coaches, I think
most are interchangeable....they are as good as their players are

lets just agree to disagree, no problem

Last time I checked LeBron is not in management and its not his job to recruit . Maybe if Dan Gilbert was respected among the NBA community , recruiting wouldn’t be an issue. You can blame JR for not recruiting as well or any other player in the past 15 years . Just because LeBron is GOAT it doesn’t make him the GM/Owner as well. It’s their job to recruit . Also last time I checked LeBron does what he gets paid for 110% beyond any other player with the way he keeps in shape and practices to hone his trade . He could of left after his rookie contract as well, he gave dildo breath 3 chances so far

Here's the definition of team from the Business Dictionary:

A group of people with a full set of complementary skills required to complete a task, job, or project.
Team members (1) operate with a high degree of interdependence, (2) share authority and responsibility for self-management, (3) are accountable for the collective performance, and (4) work toward a common goal and shared rewards(s). A team becomes more than just a collection of people when a strong sense of mutual commitment creates synergy, thus generating performance greater than the sum of the performance of its individual members.

By that definition we don't have a team. We have a bunch of parts.

It's not any one person's fault. Our second-best player wanted out, lots of injuries, sick coach, tragedy (Kyle's brother), roster turnover, old parts that didn't fit (Wade, Rose), two problems from Boston (a player out of position and a bitter injured midget), a pro's pro with limited talent (Calderon), veterans with tough seasons (JR's head, TT got Kardashian'd), no time or health to integrate midseason acquisitions, delay in playing our promising rookie, a panic attack and subsequent fallout, departed old veteran locker room guys (RJ, CF), a veteran who is strictly a role player (Green), and front-office turmoil in the summer.

But we do have LeBron, who might get us to the Finals despite all of this. Not convinced anyone in the East is ready right now to take a series from him. The way this season has gone, though, we could win the next four and move on, or get swept.

The idea of the City of Cleveland firing an owner is simply asinine. It has zero authority/legal right to do that, and it would cost the city well over a billion dollars (that it does not have) even if it did have such authority.

That was a revoltingly stupid post.

Amen.

I don’t like this team still. Seems like changes are imminent regardless.

LBJ walks and we get nothing. Because that’s how things go.

-Facilitate a trade with the Bucks. They are at the hump and need to make a go of it. Trade Love and Korver to Bucks for Delly, Maker, Parker, Brogdon.
-Trade TT. Try not giving up an asset to do so.
-JR, Calderon, Hood, and Green walk.
-Get Hill back to Pop somehow. Probably to make the numbers right for a Kawhi trade. Kawhi to Lakers, Hill to SA, SA gets additional assets from LAL, Cavs get a pick somewhere a few years down the line?
-Cedi and Parker named starters.
-Get Nance and Zizic heavy minutes.
-Reach for the sky with #8. MPJ
-Keep Lue because why pay another coach to be bad. He’s a good tank driver. Plus we really need someone to hate during the dark times
ahead.

Clarkson
Brogdon
Cedi
Parker
Zizic

MPJ (ease him in because his back)
Nance
Delly (leader, shooter, whatever)
Maker
FA guard

I don't like this team for a few reasons:
1. They're lazy. Last couple of years, this was a team that had more top-end talent than any other team except GS and out-talented other teams.
2. They play with the consistency of a moody child. If the shots are falling and they're rocking and rolling, they look unstoppable. When the shots don't fall for a series of possessions, or if they play hard defense for a few possessions and still give up baskets, they stop playing defense. No one plays the Cavs and thinks boy, we are in for a 4-quarter battle tonight.
3. The coaching is terrible.

I like a trade with the Bucks if we rebuild.

They get Love and we take back someone's salary, Maker, and a lottery protected 1st. I like this.
