Had two dropped games today which gave me a loss, so my W-L took a bit of a hit.

Only legitimate game that I have gotten in today was a blowout 61-35 win over the Warriors. The dude quit in the fourth before I could run my victory lineup of Delly-Harris-Jefferson-Andy-Kaun out there, but oh well.

I'm technically 2-3, but in games I haven't DC'd I'm 2-1.

Oh so you're fielding the most caucassian lineup we can possibly put out there..... Too bad we cut Milller.

I caved and bought the game late Friday night. The MyCareer story was waaaay over the top, but it was entertaining none the less. I'm bummed that your player starts as such trash though. I feel like last year I started at 71-72, and this year I'm at 56 and can't do shit on the court lol.

Love the new way that online quick play is set up. I'll be playing that almost exclusively to get good for our league as well as build up my vc base for mycareer.

Quick question: Can anyone do me a huge favor and rip MGK's Cavs Version of "Till I Die" from the game? This thing doesn't seem to be available anywhere online so this is kind of my last resort.

I managed to capture the track playing on my Xbox One, downloaded the Upload program and tried to upload the video (was going to extract the audio from the video once on my computer) but as I don't have an Xbox Live account, this feature is prohibited.

If anyone has a spare 5 minutes, I'd really appreciate it. A beer is on me, next time I'm in Cleveland...

How can something like that make it into the game when you promoted better defense? Nobody gets back, nobody stops AD, nobody jumps in front of passes, and the paint is just left open to run, how the hell is everyone able to Tom Brady the ball anywhere on the court? And this is on Hall of Fame where the AI should be at it's most cheating/best. Not 1 playcall or pick is set either Not to mention AD going full sprint, never getting tired for entire game.

So the past 2ks have shipped with AI shot clock cheese, human controlled teams not getting rebounds, the hop step auto make, the spin dunk/layup auto make, my career teammates playing like the bball IQ of a 10yr old, and now Tom Brady passes and AI defense refusing to transition or guard bigs running into the paint.

I like NBA2k after a few patches I do, but how they get away shipping with such huge problems and nobody says anything where NBA Live every little thing they do gets called out is beyond me.

One (if not multiple) sliders are adjusted in that video. Its a gameplay setting that you cannot change in game. I would almost guarantee passing IQ, success, hands ,etc are all up and defensive iq, etc is down. Those passes do not get completed in the game as frequently as in this video. Especially the longer ones.

It's actually pretty common in NBA2k16 if you check Operation Sports, AI bigs don't get back and you can control bigs and beat them by turboing back, use a guy like AD who has 82 speed/80 acceleration(higher then most PGs/SGs) and the AI gets confused to the max. Transition defense is a huge problem in the game, and AI just leaving guys open in general for no reason.

I've played the game a few times at a buddies and personally have seen the following issue multiple times a game by the CPU for no reason.

AI center randomly just going under the basket letting the trailing big in for a easy 2. CPU vs CPU
Once again, the AI has no idea what's going on leaving the corner open, also a nice Tom Brady pass. Why is his guy just squating in the paint like a bum? Player is on ball D.
Another one of the AI leaving the corner open for no reason what's so ever. Tight D with a 7ft+ standing on the line, why leave the 3? Player is on ball D.

AI defense IQ is highly confused of what's going on and pretty much broken imo.

Don't turbo cheese down the court with offball controls if you don't want that stuff to happen. Or play online? Like, I don't get the point of the complaint.

Those passes were occurring because of adjusted sliders. You can't pull a Kevin Love outlet pass with anyone in the game.

2k had been getting progressively worse, IMO, but this year it's actually a breath of fresh air. As an avid online player, I think it's the most enjoyable, fair, and cheese-less 2k I've played online.

I'm 22-1 in online quick play so I'm not saying I'm a scrub who hasn't figured out the 'cheese' stuff in this year's game. But, the best way to play the game is actually by running plays and an offense, which was unthinkable two years ago.

Can't wait for our league to start up.

So I guess it's cheese that the AI CPU will just randomly leave people? It's cheese the AI CPU centers squat under the basket leaving the lane open? It's cheese the AI CPU doesn't get back on transition defense and leaves the lane open again? I guess it's cheese the AI CPU bigs don't use sprint to get back, so if a user does it's cheese? But hey 2k fixed the socks not working in my career in a patch already!

You can say that video is with sliders edited or whatever you want, but watch that video and the 3 others I posted and watch the AI CPU. It has no clue what the hell is going on, it's logic is broken. Or better yet, stroll over to OS and check the impressions or bugs thread, defense logic is broken, highlighted on fast breaks.

So don't sprint down the court with bigs because the AI CPU refuses to use sprint or cut off the path in the inside? Gotcha!

Play online because AI CPU logic is broken? That's a great idea man, let's just ignore 90% of the game modes.

Really did you say play online because offline AI logic is broken? You realize some people get this game to play sim basketball in franchise mode controlling all 30 teams so they get close to realistic results? Not everyone plays 2k so they can play against the Cavs and Warriors online were half the opponents spam steal and dribble moves.
