NBA Finals | Game 3 | Warriors @ Cavs | June 7, 2017 | 9:00pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Uh ... winning the title last season?

People forget way to fast. I think TT and Shump are more to blame for this loss and maybe series. They both lost a step somewhere, well Shump was a lost step this whole season.

What did he do to win the title?

What do you directly attribute to him?

Not to speak for him but I am 50/50 on Lue, I was a hundred before the season but I mean if the right guys comes up who everyone knows will be better then yes. However a lot of this was the slow decline of TT near the play offs and the Shump that never was and hopefully never will be. Shump if number one on my list of people or players that need to go though.

He sat Kyrie for a few minutes in the fourth in game seven. The live thread went ballistic, but the little bit of rest was key when Kyrie shot that three over Curry.

But as far as direct attribution is concerned - he didn't score, rebound, block, steal or pass. Didn't play defense either. So you got me there.

This is what you came up with?

Actually resting a player for a few minutes is the highlight of his coaching career?

Thanks for proving my point.

No, the highlight of his career was winning the title.

I gave you one example of a specific move he made at a critical point in the title run.

Another example: he made better use of Love than Blatt did.

But ok, you want to believe Lue is the reason we're losing to Golden State, fine. Fire him and just keep changing coaches every year or two. Dumb.

I could coach this team to the degree he is.

Stare in the stands, run some practices, do some interviews and let LeBron do his thing.

The best part about this discussion is you blanking on anything strategic he did.

The only thing you could think of was letting a player not play 48 minutes.

That's my point. He's just a guy. There's a good 10-12 coaches in the league I'd drop him for immediately. Another 4-6 you could sell me on.

THAT average of a guy is in charge of the twilight of LeBron's prime. That is incredibly scary to me.

Sure. He could help I suppose if we added him little in exchange.

He's also poised to make 20+ million on his new deal. So what avenue is there to bring him here without weakening us in other areas?

Even if Toronto said, we'll S&T you Serge for TT, that would then lock us into the hard cap and we'd have to shed other contracts and be limited in season to what we could add

And what do you suppose we do instead? They've clearly figured out how to play offensively and defensively with Tristan on the floor and we lost this game because they capitalized on a lot of offensive rebounds. We're basically at the hard cap anyway and Tristan's contract is about 16.5 million. We're already going to be over the cap with 10 guys on the team...

Golden State still has centers by the way. The least we need to do is get a guy who can win a tip...

Fuck! This hurts, I mean I am really mad about this. This was a golden opportunity to make it a series and then in the blink of an eye its another loss and the most embarrassing one I can remember.

Unbelievable, if LBJ never passed to Korver or if Kover actually hit the shot this is a completely different story but that happens in life. At this point I am losing faith but its not completely gone. Realistically I know its not likely to happen but that is why you play the game. I just can't imagine a team this talented on the brink of a sweep. I will be watching game 4 on pins and needles and all we need is 1 to at least hold off what seems like the inevitable.

I take basketball WAY too serious, I will be in a funk if this shit really happens. It will be painful to even watch summer league.

I am going to watch the latest episode of weird ass Twin Peaks and eating my weight in starbursts. I need to get a stomach ache so I can focus on that rather than this soul sinking feeling.

Serge ain't gonna help us win shit. LeBron need to match K.D with another all star player. You four on GS two are super stars and two all stars. A 33 year old man has two stars with him and band aids... Even adding a Butler or George would or could beat GS. As long as they address the the bench as best they can with two minute hogs or like Derrick should have been used as a minute hog "Lue!" This could have been avoided. So think if we had Butler or George out there when Brons sits with Love and KI we would be fine.

once again, fuck iggy and his fake ass injuries/slumps

dude saves himself all season to make 2 to 3 good plays against lebron

you know what truly sucks? I have ocd and my abc feed on uverse tv has issues coming back from commercials with garbled audio so I am reliving this game and feeling in about 12 hours when I go back to correct it with the various repeats of the game on tv. It literally takes me hours to do it and I do it every game!
