Not interviewing anybody, besides a guy who has not a single day of front office experience, is what makes Dan Gilbert look like a meddling buffoon, who just ran off the guy that helped this franchise finally win a championship.

No, don't think so..the guys they have working with Griff might be promoted..unless Gilbert has someone else in mind also.
All of this could have been avoided if he had just taken the easier route and not created another position to fill.
 
Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I saw a tweet from Joe Lull about Chauncy being on board but the only reason he hasn't signed yet was so he could legally tamper. Now i think he was speculating, but the more I think about this and the more time goes on with really no new information one way or another the more I think this is likely the case. You would think you would be hearing about other names coming up after a good week has gone by with no real news coming out.

It just makes too much sense that this would be the case.
 
Not sure about the whole tampering thing but Ice Cube, Rip, and Gus Johnson have all said in interviews that Chauncey was taking the job... I feel like it is a forgone conclusion at this point

Dan Gilbert is willing to spend money to win championships. And for that reason, I'm glad he's our owner. Otherwise, I don't give a shit about him and assume that he's a piece of shit like most overly rich people.
