New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Anyone who's watched Atlanta care to summate the show and their opinion of it? It's been on my list of shows to start but winning a globe in it's first year may move it to the top of the list.

Glover is a young guy trying to break into the music business in Atlanta. His cousin happens to have a hit single and he's able to convince him to let Glover be his manager. Hijinks ensue while he's also trying to keep the relationship with the mother of his child going.

It's really well done, with good humor as well as some very poignant moments about life. Obviously plenty of good music too.

Another great Always Sunny episode last night. Two for two this season so far.

"What are you guys doing? You guys doing an AIDS thing?"
"Oh yeah, yeah, I gave Frank a couple of hickeys to sell the lesions. You doing a fake daughter thing?"
"Yeah."
"Cool. All right, man, see ya."

I love this show.

Also worth noting that the creators of the Game of Thrones TV (Benioff and Weiss) cameo as the slide attendant and lifeguard.

Edit: Oh yeah, the fat kid from Shameless is in it too.

I think this show is one of the top top comedies out there in this day and age. It is amazing that after so many seasons the show has not grown stale.

A few seasons ago I thought the show had lost a step and figured it was on the decline. They knocked last season out of the park, though, and this season is off to a great start, so maybe they found their second wind.

Last season just had some tremendous episodes.
"Chardee MacDennis 2: Electric Boogaloo"
"Being Frank"
"The Gang Hits the Slopes"
"Mac & Dennis Move to the Suburbs" (my personal favorite from last year)
"The Gang Goes to Hell"

There were a couple of clunkers, but by and large it was a great season.

I'm mostly through season 2 of Supergirl. It's alright. I picture her naked a lot, so that's helpful.

What I hate is how they dumb down her powers. She should be super fast...avoiding almost all of these fights. When she punched a human, their heads should explode like a watermelon at a Gallagher show. It's annoying.

...why....why are you watching it?! That looked god awful to me

Any recommendations for a show with only a couple seasons to watch? Open to drama, comedy or philosophical. I finished part 1 of Black Mirror so that's already in my queue.

I get into two types of series. 1) Series that are interesting and I can give my full attention, and 2) Ones I can "watch" while I am doing other things at the same time.

Supergirl is the latter.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is back for season 9 in 2017.

Probably my favorite show of all time.

Excited

I really enjoyed the new season of Sherlock, though I know it has had some mixed reviews.

Not sure if there will be another season. If there is, it won't be for awhile given the schedules of everyone involved.

However, it is also pretty difficult to see a clear path forward from where things are right now so I could see it being the last episode.

Taboo is so. Fucking. Good.

Tom Hardy is the best actor working today, fuck everyone else.

Must catch up on Sunny. Must watch Taboo. Currently trying to catch my girlfriend up on Sunny so can't watch new shit for now

Taboo is legit.

So many good actors in it, hard for it to not be decent.

Also a bit late to the party but Ash v. Evil Dead is super fun and mindless show to watch.
