New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Finished the first season of Last Kingdom. Really enjoyed it. There was one moment in the last battle that was almost eyerollingly ridiculous, but it was still a good season of television.

I watched the new leftovers twice. Couldnt get into it. Havent watched a series without binging on it like, ever. Hard to keep momentum.

I can r3cognize that its good. I can. The last scene is certainly lindeloffy. But its just not landing yet

Yeah, I'm definitely enjoying it. On the season one finale right now.

Is Vikings any good? I downloaded the first season, but wanted to get caught up with Last Kingdom before watching it. Vikings has a slightly better (.4) iMDB rating, for whatever that's worth.

The first few seasons are good. Starts off slow, really hits its stride in seasons 2-4.

Loved that priest getting all militant. And i appreciated that the English weren't the walkovers they tended to be in Vikings.

Thought Fargo got off to a good start.

Netflix in May looks solid:

May 5: Sense8 Season 2 and Last Kingdom Season 2 (Now a Netflix Original)

May 12: Master of None Season 2.

May 26: Bloodline Season 3 (Confirmed Final Season).

May 30: House of Cards Season 5.

Some decent Netflix original movies too. War Machine staring Brad Pitt looks promising.

American Gods Premieres April 30th on Starz. The casting and visual aesthetic will be incredible. The story(based on the Gaiman book) is sprawling and interesting, nothing all that deep, but certainly interesting. I'm expecting this too be a really good show. The first reviews have trickled out and they're all very positive. Barring disaster, this should at minimum be a 3-4 season show. The twitter and IG pages have some cool little 30 second promos and visuals. I posted both trailers, a brief behind the scenes, and a show clip below.

By far my favorite thing about this show is that it wastes no fucking time. I feel like everything happens at a lightning pace, and that's kind of refreshing compared to Game of Thrones, where everything takes forever to happen. I'm on episode four of season two and so much shit has happened already. Game of Thrones would have taken like three seasons to cover the amount of shit that has already gone down in season two of this show, and I'm not even five minutes into the fourth episode.

I also think the guy who plays Uhtred is gradually getting better and better in the role. And the ending of episode three was fucking great. Actually the entire second half of episode three was great.

In terms of the book, i thought it was a very cool idea, but poorly executed. I'll wait to hear reviews of the first season before investing time in it.

Haven't seen season 2 yet, so thanks for the tip. I may start it next week.

I really liked Uhtred as a character. He's the protagonist of the story, but not exactly the "hero", nor a villian. Makes things interesting.

Leftovers is actually really good. Im pumped. The person immediately dying at the start kind of makes season 2 silly, but im nitpicking and im sure that theyll come back later this season.

I dont think better call saul was ever supposed to be like bb, but i think it has potential to get exciting this season.

Halfway through season 5 of The Wire. Great, great, show. Reminds me of my days growing up in Parma in the 80s.

Also, I saw a pic of Colin Kaepernick and couldn't help but think he looked just like Bubs.
