Battlestar Galactica (mid 2000s remake) is hands down one of the greatest tv shows I’ve ever seen. And it’s not just me - it makes most lists of greatest all time tv shows. Alan Sepinwall even included it in his book about the ten shows of the Golden Age of TV, alongside giants such as The Wire, Breaking Bad, and The Sopranos. It’s one of the most addictive shows I’ve seen, with an incredible ability to be both enthralling as you’re watching it while addressing complex philosophical and political issues. You would love Deep Space Nine. Same producer. He tested out many of his ideas on DS9 before he did BSG.

@The Human Q-Tip did you catch the new episode of Leigon last night? Anyone else for that matter but I remember that you followed it at least last season.

Should be an interesting season cause again like the last season I have no idea how things are going to play out.

Ah crap. Missed it. I'll have to tape the series and see if I can find that first episode.

I watch Legion but I've always felt that I have no clue what's actually going on. Yesterday's episode was no exception, it felt like I was watching someone's incomplete dreams all mashed up into 40 minutes of tv.
 
There's this Michigan football doc on Amazon prime.

Just starting it, but if the point was to show what a weirdo Harbaugh is, then mission accomplished.

Watching them getting excited about Haskins coming into the game then summarily getting their asses kicked and crying after the game was worth all the time seeing these wads and offs on the screen for so long.
 
New series of Homeland is outstanding.
 
Yo anybody talk about Barry yet?

Bill Hader plays a hitman who discovers acting. It's hilarious and dark, in fact a little heavy for me at times. Only 3 episodes so far on HBO, but it's so damn good. Henry Winkler is in it, as well as Stephen Root, both of whom I adore. The whole cast is really good but the bald Chechen mafia guy steals the show.

If you like Hader or high quality HBO comedies, you'll probably like it.
