New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The 80s town one is actually one of the better endings. You should try finishing it. It might be in my top 5 of Black mirror episodes.

The ending was all right, but holy shit getting there was fucking tedious.

I thought it felt like a Lost episode which is one of my favorite TV shows. The ending asks a pretty good question of
if you had the definite electronic/man made version of Heaven or the after life, would you take that over the unknown religious version?

Just finished Season 2 of Goliath on Amazon Video. I mean, fuck, I don't know if I'm disturbed, disgusted, depressed, or what. Really liked the first season but I'm not sure I like where this show is going with Season 2.

Billy Bob Thornton is just awesome, that much cannot be debated.

Season 2 is just silly IMO. The acting is ok but the story line and the direction is just lame. I did not like it, it is like they but more than they could chew.

Into season two of Brockmire. Show has stayed hilarious throughout.

This show is basically just a reskinned Eastbound & Down, and I am totally okay with that.

I personally like it more than eastbound and down. The characters are just more likable in general and there isn't any annoying characters.

Just finished the Tick on Amazon prime. I thought it was good. Its an easy to watch comedy/superhero story. It's much more on the lighter side than all the other comic tv shows out there. It's 20-30 minutes an episode and there are 12 of them so it doesn't feel like they are just dragging out the plot to fill time.

I think I like it better too. But my point was just that it's a very, very similar show. The humor is similar, as is the premise. Not complaining, though. I liked Eastbound and I'm loving Brockmire.

Also, this fucking Brockmire scene...

The new Tick or old Tick.

"Recently came to at a strip club as it was closing. It wasn't late, it's just the health inspector walked in and shut the place down."

"I always have referred to orange juice as a glass of vodka wasted."

I think Brockmire might be my new favorite comedy. :chuckle:

really? I made it about half way through the first episode before I turned it off. I guess it got better from there?

Yeah the first episode isn't that good. I actually didn't like it when they just released the plot. I watched it again when I started the series and I think they even made some changes to it.

The plot they try to walk the line between comedy and a dark plot. The rest of the series they don't try steer towards being dark at all, its a comedy.
