New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Jack Ryan was good. I'm a fan of the character/novels, read a lot of Clancy growing up since I was obsessed with military shit.

Good, not great. Hopefully this becomes a series they build on. I like Krasinski, he is a good portrayal of the character. Making Greer Muslim was a tad odd. Overall, made me damn nostalgic for the books and even the old Harrison Ford films from back in the day. Looking forward to the next one.

Next up is new season of Man in the High Castle and in a bit, Daredevil Season 3.

Woman that plays Kim wxler is 46. If you guessed she was anywhere near that you're lying

Watching "The Good Place" now. It's a decently funny show, and the female leads are pretty hot.

It also made me think about the difference between a show like this, or The Office, or Curb Your Enthusiasm that does not employ a laugh track. That artificial laughing on some shows is so annoying. The obvious offenders are Full House back in the day and THe Big Bang Theory today (there are plenty of others). I know Seinfeld used it too, but watching that one, they didn't do obvious pauses in the dialogue to let the canned laughter commence like in Big Bang. The laugh track in Seinfeld occurred as the show was still going along for the most part. You take out the laugh track and the show doesn't lose it's essence. Big Bang Theory is painful (more than usual) to watch without that laugh track.

Anyway, good show, hot actresses, and Ted Danson is looking really old.

Oakes being a rip off of breaking bad makes it easy to compare and it's nowhere near as good

Laugh tracks should be put down.

it's not a laugh track, it's filmed in front of a live studio audience. I haven't watched it in a couple of years, but I enjoy the big bang theory, perhaps because in my first job I worked with a bunch of nerdy physicists and engineers.

It's still considered a laugh track even if you film in front of a real audience.

And either way, laugh tracks are terrible and unnecessary for scripted shows that pretend the audience isn't there. If you don't acknowledge the crowd, why do you need to hear their laughs?

Expedition Unknown is quite a show. But its on regular tv so you guys have probably never heard of it.

I'm glad Flash is back. It's my favorite show on TV. Only one I stay up on. I used to watch Arrow, Legends and Supergirl. But I didnt have the time last year so I'm behind by like half a season.
