New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Why? What happened?

I dont watch the Warriors because fuck them.
It's was a joke. I think award shows are both boring and it's off putting watching celebrities patting themselves on the back and getting on a soap box to display their moral and ideological superiority.

I didn't even know they made a series off the Evil Dead movies. It was on Starz, no fucking wonder I never knew. :chuckle:

Shit, I've been binge watching it on Netflix. So pissed its cancelled. Bring this shit back to Netflix. Show is fantastic, better than the movies. I want MORE!

Doesnt it suck to invest a lot of time in a series and then having the series cancelled ? They need to make it a rule that if a series is renewed it gets renewed for atleast 2 seasons minimum and the how creators must end the show at its end and not have a cliffhanger ending that will be resolved in the next season.

A smart showrunner would never have a season end with a cliffhanger if they don't know if the show has been renewed when they film it. I've always thought the best way to structure television is to have each season tell one main story that concludes at least somewhat satisfactorily at the end of the season. You can have other stories that lead into the following season, but I think there should be at least one major resolution each year.

"Killer of Killers", which was the 5th or 6th episode from the first season, was everything a Bruce Campbell show could possibly be. The whole thing when he's offering to "pay" for their breakfast, then "is that lavender?", the meat slicer...just a fucking awesome episode.

The show overall is/was great -- didn't realize it got cancelled.

Ashy Slashy from season two is the best episode in the series. Well, at least in the first two seasons. I still haven't gotten around to watching the third.

I once watched odyssey 5 on sci fi channel, I purposely didn’t look anything up about the show while I was watching it so I wouldn’t see any spoilers. It ended in a major cliffhanger. I googled when the next season would start only to learn it was a showtime show that had long ago been canceled. Not because it got bad ratings, but just because they decided to get away from sci-fi.

Speaking of Daredevil, the 'Paige throwback' episode is total bullshit and completely unnecessary. Did her character have that terrible background in the comics?

She’s a heroin addict in the comics and gives up Matt Murdock’s identity. She’s a completely different character in the show.

Finished the third season of The Last Kingdom, which dropped on Netflix at the beginning of the week. If you're not watching this show and you remotely like medieval dramas, vikings, or fantasy (the show is historical fiction, but there are definitely some fantasy elements at times), put it on your fucking list. It's one of the best shows on TV right now.

Getting into Narcos: Mexico now. I'm a few episodes in and really enjoying it. Don Neto is the best.

Watched the first few of Series Three. So far it is excellent as usual.

Then again it could the drugs.

Netflix just cancelled Daredevil. I'm pretty salty about that. I really enjoy the show and I'm just finishing up S3. With the mass MCU/Netflix cancellations, are they being ported over to new Disney stream service for future seasons?

Usually once a series is canceled by one network they are free to find a new home. If the relationship between Marvel and Netflix is strained though and the fact that they are both streaming might cause a problem. Streaming was build with the idea of building up a library of orginal titles and having the titles forever.

So if Disney wants the previous seasons of the show they might have to negotiate a buy out of those seasons. We have no clue of how aging shows do on Netflix since they don't release number.
