New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I followed RCFs advice when I watched a few years ago. Happily stopped after Season 4.

What's going to happen is what we all fell victim to. You love the first four seasons to varying degrees, know the criticism about the rest of the show, but figure "hey it can't be that bad". You deal with the forthcoming terribleness because you want to see the completion of a few big plot threads that all end up feeling very unsatisfying. You want to turn back, but it's the final season... eff it, gotta finish. After the finale you wish you would have stopped after 4 and proceed to hit up message boards and try (but ultimately fail) to convince the next generation to heed your warnings and to learn from your failings.

I'll stop and ask for the answers to the remaining plot holes.

One of the rare cases where "it can't possibly be that bad" results in "wow, it was actually worse."

The finale is outright insulting.

No joke, I actually stopped watching after season 4 before I even knew of this meme. I count my lucky stars for this every day.

I just finished watching Hanna. I thought it was good but could have been better. The first episode was probably the best. The storyline was basically like the UK version of Skins with an action twist to it. Skins is one of my favorite show of all times but I thought Hanna was going to be darker and more action. I thought it was going to be more Bourne Identity, not coming of age teen drama.

Anyone here watch Knightfall? Any reason why it's rated so low? I enjoyed catching up on it.

I watched the first episode and I couldn't get over how poorly it was shot. Like everything looked fake and the acting was bad.

Watched After Life this week, the new Netflix comedy with Ricky Gervais. It was good. Seemed like each episode had at least a couple of laugh out loud moments. Thought the last episode got a bit sappy and preachy, but overall it was a surprisingly funny show given the subject matter, which is the story of a man struggling to come to grips with life after his wife dies of cancer and he becomes suicidal.

Only seven episodes too, so you can knock it out in a couple of days easy. Recommend it if you're looking for a new comedy series.
